This charcoal grate is awesome. It's holding up to the extreme heat. I used to have grates that couldn't withstand the hi temperature. But this is the best replacement ever. I only had been using this for a couple of weeks. But I can tell this will last a lot longer than my previous grates. And the price was very affordable. It was shipped and received very quickly. Thanks Home Depot. This is a purchase that I'm glad I made.

Even heat distribution

I use this grill inside my Brinkmann smoker as a lower shelf so I can smoke more at the same time.

I picked this up to use in the charcoal pan in my Brinkmann Gourmet Smoker (lovingly known in BBQ circles as the "ECB"). One of the common complaints with the Brinkmann smokers is that the charcoal snuffs itself out sitting flat on the metal pan. This grate (along with a few s-rings) allowed me to get air under the charcoal, which allows the coals to burn evenly for 6-8 hours easily. In addition, by using the s-rings with this grate, the modification takes only a minute or two and involves no drilling or cutting into the metal. Simply hang the s-rings on the holes in the pan, and you're done (see photo). The durability of this weber grate is excellent, and I highly recommend this well-built replacement grate for any grill/smoker application.

Returned item because it did not fit my application. The grate was fine in as of itself but I read it to be 18-1/2” instead of fits the 18-1/2” kettle.

The replacement grill is being used on a 30-year old Weber BBQ Kettle! It works great and helps make the Weber feel almost new. I have a Home Depot around the corner from me, but I was instructed to go to another location all the way across town to pick up my order. Why?

It was way to small and the employee said it would fit,and no it doesn't even fit my mother's weber.

It’s not the piece I need whatsoever

Description is for an 18” Weber charcoal grill. But it only 13” in diameter. Turns out it’s for the bottom of the 18” charcoal grill that’s tapered to hold the 13” grate. Very misleading description

No it did not................can i return it at the store ? Deceptive description...............What is the diameter of the grate ?

I needed a grate for my grill because the other one was bent from the dog pulling the grill off the porch, although the grill was bent a little it fit perfect, it works perfect
