The grate fit my grill just fine. It doesn’t seem to be as thick as the original grate that came with my grill so to say it would be an exact replacement would be false. It will work fine until I buy a new grill.

Replacement Parts are of Even Better Quality!
My replacement charcoal grates for the original 18" kettle and 14" Smokey Joe seem to be of better quality than the original grates.

This is a tiny great design for the bottom of a grill. 18 and 1/2 in designation has nothing to do with this grill. It is misleading.

Hello. We are sorry for the confusion. This item is a charcoal grate and is meant to be used at the bottom of the bowl of an 18 in. grill. to hold the charcoal.

The grill size is actually 13 ½”. It fits the bottom portion where the charcoal goes. The cooking grill, 18”, is needed. I would like to return the items. Can any Home Depot accept the return?

Fits in 18.5 inches
It was smaller than 18.5 inches the titles is confusing but it worked at the end. It fits in a 18.5 inch diameter charcoal but it is not 18.5 inches in diameter

Simply Amazing
The Grate leaves the perfect mark. I have grates that leave marks on the meat but this has the perfect grill mark on the meat and it fits perfect with the BBQ pit.

The actual quality and value of this item was good but no amount of quality is good when you think you ordered a 18 inch (dia) grate and get one that measures 13.5 inches. There is a sticker on this which indicates it is for a 18 inch grill and a item 7440 grate. I want ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS not "one that is for---" I am replacing grates on a old grill given to me.
