This product was recommended by the grab bar manufacturer. After drilling the holes with their recommended bit the anchors would not fit thru the hole. I had to pound them in with a hammer and even then the prongs would not go all the way in, thus defeating its main feature. After installed the black part extended beyond the decorative cover on the grab bar, so it looks pretty ugly. I think a typical large size wall anchor would work better and not show.

Have used these for a commercial high use hand rail to repair vandalism without shutting down a much needed stairwell. They will hold what they claim. If it HAS to hold-use these and forget about it. Keep a box around the shop, you will not regret it.

Well made, does the work I need it to do (grab bars in a bathroom). Using the Wingits Apache200 Drill Bit made installing into ceramic tile relatively easy.

This is probably this best anchor ever invented for grab bars. With a holding strength of approximately 300 pounds, nothing else comes close. And now I find the geniuses in Atlanta have decided they should no longer be carried at the store level. This makes me very sad. I have a project with time constraints and need these anchors. Ordering them takes 10 to 12 days. I don't have that luxury. Why would HD drop such an effective product? No one knows.

I used these for grab bars in the shower and for a wall mounted TV. Both mountings are very secure.

I ended up returning this item because I felt that it was too bulky for my application. I was trying to attach grab bars in a tile shower. I believe that there are applications where this item would be perfect.

This was a handy and quick way to secure my grab bar to my fiberglass walkin shower. I feel this was a better system than the metal molly bolt style. Will purchase again.

Very very poor product. All I needed it to do was hold up a light single curtain rail. It didn’t open inside the wall as it should done it just left a gaping hole that I had to fill. Super cheap made in China product. Not fit for purpose. I’m returning it.

Strong and secure. Great design, 300 lb. capacity. There are three plastic extendable fingers to support the screw, that was only a size 10-20. I wish it was larger, like a 1/4-20. It was secure, but the sometimes the holes in the fixture you want to secure are larger than the small screw head, so I needed to buy stainless washers.

Used these on sheet rock to secure a toilet paper bar to the wall. Previous wall anchors worked loose and the hole in the wall enlarged. Used this device without having to move holder, or mess with repairs. Simply placed this anchor into the same opening and they secured holder to wall. Resolved what is usually a problem.

These were expensive and did not expand in plaster and lathe walls.

These were not as easy to install as I expected, but once in, they appear to be very strong. The problem was that sometimes tightening the provided screw didn't draw the interior piece up against the inside of the wall. With a lot of finagling, I finally succeeded in getting all but one of them tight. They are now holding up glass shelves with my wife's collection of exotic rocks.
