Didn't realize the warranty was 30 day from date of purchase (Really!!!). Why is The Home Depot carrying this product or any of there products. First use the bolt on the shock absorber broke on a small root, I live in Florida the digging here is all sand, come on really. I was still able to use the post hole digger put in about 15 holes after removing the shock absorber. Contacted XtremepowerUS they want $15 for the bolt, lol. If your looking for an inexpensive power digger, it works. Do I have confidence it would last more then a few jobs, probably not. You get what you pay for!!

We used this auger to set two 4x4 posts for our gate. The setup was easy and only a few pulls to get it started. This auger dug a 3 foot deep hole in about 2 minutes. Easy to operate and its not too heavy to carry from hole to hole. An extremely good product. We have about 38 more holes to dig for our garden fence and im sure it will be as easy as the first two holes were.

Instructions are written in broken English. I've read them thoroughly and it says fuel mix is 50:1, further on in the book it says 30:1mix. That's not it though... on the box it says 40:1 mix. What is the real mix? Haven't even got to use it yet!

This auger was a lot easier to operate then I expected, tank of gas last a long time, easy set up..

Works amazing dug 6 holes 3 feet deep in under 25 mins roots rocks and all. Highly recommend.

Easy to assemble. My model did NOT need oil added to engine. Instructions were generic for different models. This was very inexpensive for how well it worked. If you have very rocky soil, any of these are going to struggle if it hits a big rock. If you hit a rock of any size, you have to reach down and remove it and then start again. Other than that, it worked really well

Well I got it out the box ready to use it. Wasn’t sure if the gear box was filled shipped (didn’t say in the booklet all it says is make sure it’s filled) so put 3 squirts in. Follow the instructions lock lever prime put it on start pull… over and over. Messed with it for and hour and I gave up. I’m returning this 2mrw.

Got the job done in rocky dirt. Very fast delivery.

Worked great with a 12” bit !!!

Purchased auger for fence post. I didn't have high expectations but after starting it up right away and digging holes with no problems. I highly recommend it. The only downside is I would prefer it with a 10 inch bit.

needed to dig 8 holes and the bolt that holds the bit on snapped on the 8th hole. Brought it back and got my money back. Buying a different brand.

This is a very lightweight machine and it starts easy. I used it for digging some holes for deck footings. It works fine but has trouble when it comes across rocks bigger than your fist and did not like it when I hit some very compacted clay but once the clay was loosened just a little it was fine. I have used it to set about 10 footers or so but it's not something I will use a lot and I don't have room to store it so will probably try and sell it in the next month or so. It was still cheaper though than to try and rent one around here. oh yeah I was confused about the manual saying to add oil but all I found were grease fitting. Come to find out the manual is way out of date.

Does the job perfect. Saves time and energy.

This thing is awesome!! Easy to set up, starts right up, and is simple to use. We used it to dig 13 holes for a small wood fence and it worked great for us.

The delivery was fast, the assembly was super easy, and it was a one pull start after fuel was added. I am using a 25:1 ratio. The instructions on fuel mixture is vague. The machine drills a 36” hole into black clay in about 2 minutes. A little clay balling but clears easily. I would definitely recommend this piece of equipment high enough that I am planning a jackhammer purchase by the same company.

The spring on the auger broke after 4 holes!!

Does a good job but if there's roots over 1/2 inch think it stops dead

First of all showed up straight out of the box leaking oil, fuel lines not connected and after an hour of throwing out my shoulder the piece of junk still won’t start. Absolutely do not waste your money on this cheap piece of crap

Had issues with it right out of the box. Never could get it to start because the engine wasn’t getting fuel.

This thing is junk. Received a used item with the wrong Manual and missing items. Tried starting it to the point of almost throwing out my shoulder and no luck. Spark plug arrived fouled as well. Buy elsewhere!

Dug 15 holes using a 50:1 oil mix with no issues. Did no greasing of gearbox but will next time. It crushed all 15 holes with a couple I needed to use a Sawzall to cut a couple roots. It ate through anything .5" or less. Tossed fist size rocks as well. Muscle will be needed. I never full throttled it. I feather it in an effort to not break anything. Throttle handle kinda cheap but I can fix that.
