Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

Prepare to save when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major purchases you've been waiting to save on: patio furniture, outdoor power equipment, appliances, grills, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to snag unbelievable deals that run from May 14 to 27 with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in June 2026?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this goalie game. Constructing a kid-sized tabletop soccer game is a great way to exercise listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 6/6/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
