What's part of The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale?
Get organized this summer and enjoy better productivity. Projects are easier when you can find what you have on hand. The Home Depot Storage Sale runs June 22nd to August 18th online and in-store, and you can save on garage shelving, storage bins, cabinets, and storage systems by your favorite brands. We've got garage storage deals on all the items you'll need for a clean and organized garage or shed.
What do I need for my teen's college dorm?
We've got your college dorm essentials. Use storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Bring spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer?
Be confident your home is set for relentless summer heat by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in August 2026?
Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to exercise listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on August 1, 2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
