Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for Father's Day?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get great deals on everything from smart home gifts and ladders to garage storage and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th through June 24th only, so shop fast.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Be confident your home is ready for summertime heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on July 4th, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized wooden go-kart! Your little builder can assemble their very own go-kart craft — like the racetrack version but kid-sized. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
