Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale?

Garage Storage Savings are here, so start shopping now. From garage storage bundles to garage shelving, we've got bargains on everything you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales online or in-store from 6/22–8/18, and make this the year you sort out the basement and the garage.

What do I need for my teen's college dorm?

We've got your dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and cleaning wipes and other cleaning products to sanitize the space. Bring spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Power strips and extension cords let you place floor lamps, mini fridges, and microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag or underbed storage yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your Warrenton Home Depot.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for summer temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the August Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on August 1, 2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.

    Organized Inventory and Friendly staff
I walked around the store with a dog who was learning to be a great citizen in public. The staff at the Warrenton store were so sweet and greeted us with kindness. The store was nicely neat and organized. I was able to easily locate the plant pot that I needed.

          Wrong prices.
Make sure you double check the price of things you purchase here. At the check out the computer tried to charge me $27.00 more than it was listed on the display item and the website.

Not so friendly when I went there for sure. Few examples of those who were great. Very few at that.

We came in on Saturday January 17th with the intention of purchasing some toilets, we ended up looking at refrigerators and purchasing one and also an induction stove. A gentle then by the name of Tom helped us. He was very kind, professional, and answered all our questions.

                  Purchase of washer/dryer combo.
I recently purchased a washer/dryer combo in the Warrenton store. Thomas Forcier the appliance specialist was extremely helpful. He printed out 4 different quotes on 2 separate days. He answered all my questions so I was confident of making the right choice. He was very patient and helpful.

Is this particular store is Not conducive to handicap shoppers.
The store is not designed for handicap use even though it has useless handicap riding carts. They are blocked in, and they are hardly ever charged. And run out of battery halfway through the store. The cards are old and need to be replaced for handicapped customers. It's clear that no one has given it a thought.
