I order things online from home depot regularly as a contractor, and certain home depot's have no idea what the items are that they are supposed to be putting together for me, the Eldersburg home depot has always been consistently & easily the best home depot around as far as having orders ready and complete

If you are buying large quantities of mulch bring your family and friends. No employee assistance. Gave a fair rating because the cashier was friendly.

I visited this department for a week straight getting paint samples. They were so helpful, kind and understanding of me making a final decision on paint for an entire home.

I bought a gas range today. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Adam even printed out and emailed me documentation on my new appliance.

I shop the Eldersburg store almost weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. The employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store is adequately stocked for the most part.

If you are looking for technical advice or to get everything at one store in one trip, the Eldersburg Home Depot is not for you. The employees are helpful and kind, however corporate throws them untrained into a department, it didn't used to be this way. Corporate also appears to have Helen Keller handling inventory replenishment.

Needed a new kitchen light and they had just what I needed at a good price. Cam in the light fixture section was very helpful.

Lumber and checkout employees were very attentive helpful, and friendly.

Greeted when entering the store and most employees are ready to stop what they are doing to assist.

The online inventory is usually accurate and tells me where to find the items

Never greeted, spoke to like I was bothering the associates, associates more worried about the next break.

Ok, so I like to give GOOD review WAY more than I like to give poor ones...so I'm excited to put out there that there was a particular employee at this store (named Alex--Electrical department) who GLADLY went FAR and ABOVE to find something for us. We wanted purple holiday LED lights and the shelf had an empty box--OUT OF STOCK?! :( ...but along came ALEX to the rescue who simply OVERHEARD us talking in disappointment that we couldn't find our purple lights. He scanned the bin tag, saw there were 16 SOMEWERE in the store, spent a LOT of his time looking for them, found them in the topstock over the paint department, visually searched for the specific type we were looking for, FOUND it, climbed a ladder to grab them (and realized he couldn't get to them), went and grabbed a LIFT, blocked the aisle off, strapped himself in, and GOT US OUR LIGHTS!!! We were only looking for one box, but we bought THREE (prob should've bought them all ;) ). Thanks ALEX!! you are a GLEAMING example of AWESOME, AMAZING customer service. SO REFRESHING!!!

We took advantage of the Labor Day Specials on a new Whirlpool Washer & Dryer. Great deals! If you're in Carroll County or nearby in MD, ask for Appliance Specialist Laurie Berry. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful on every possible discount!

We just moved to Eldersburg and have shopped three times (in 2 weeks) at the Eldersburg Home Depot. We cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences with staff in this store! Having shopped at Home Depot stores for the past 20 years in several states and multiple cities, we can honestly say this store has exceptional customer service.

I visited 3 home depots over the past few days looking for deck railings and hardware and left all three other stores frustrated after having dug through piles of ripped open packing and finding packages with missing parts. This store however, was clean and organized and had everything properly labeled in the spots where they should be.

I am a very pleasant and helpful cashier at the Eldersburg Home Depot. Her name is Sharen Hope.

Within a 6 mile radius of home I have three Home Depots from which to choose. The Eldersburg, MD store is the BEST! Whether returning an item, shopping for something in 'any' department the employees treat me like a person, not 'just a customer'. Of all the three stores close to my home, this is the only store I can say this about. In fact, I'll go out of my way to avoid two of the stores in my area. If I must go to another Home Depot I'll drive 25 minutes in the opposite direction to a store rather than visit two of the three nearest me.

The Eldersburg HD always has what I go there for. The employees are nice and always helpful. During peak holiday season (Halloween/Christmas/etc.) they do run out stock early, but so does every other store in town!
