Shopping at Home Depot is generally a positive experience. Staff are always helpful and mostly available when you need them. This is probably one of the better stores when it comes to customer service. Employees seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and helping people. A simple smile goes a long way.

Store is clean , has most products in stock. However the number of employees available for assistance and for check out is poor. Most of the time you need to wait 5-10 mins to find an associate for help.

Best Home Depot in the state in my opinion. My work takes me to several counties and a lot of Home Depots. This store is the best I've been to because the staff are great!

I love this particular store location! I go to HD a lot and everyone eventually knows me and are always so friendly, saying a quick "hello" or "you're back!" I especially love all the workers who are always helpful and never mind stopping in the middle of what they're doing to help me out. I seem to need a lot of help and this store always delivers with friendliness!

Home Depot may be a chain, but certainly not all are created equal. The Eldersburg Home Depot is always a cut above the others! I grew up going to the Aspen Hill and Germantown ones, but they pale in comparison. The parking lot is easy to get into/out of with large & small vehicles, selections is always good, and customer service is strong. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line for a human cashier, and not more than 2/3 for a self-checkout. Returns are streamlined, bathrooms are clean, and (though I hate spending money) I rather enjoy spending my money here.

I shop here often, so I have a bit of an advantage when it comes to interacting with the Home Depot staff. Based on my frequent visits, The staff here has been really friendly, and knowledgeable. With a few rare exceptions, the store always has the items I am looking for. I am generally here to buy construction lumber, hardware, paint, and in the spring we buy plants. I bought a puny cactus here 20 years ago, and it’s 5 feet tall now! I haven’t bought any big appliances from Home Depot so I can’t comment on the quality in that regard. The lumber is of adequate and above quality. However, if you want specialty lumber, a lumberyard is your best bet. But this is convenient for me. I have some projects that tend to drag gone, so if I lose a receipt and need to return an item, they are great about giving me store credit.

Some dishonest management in spite of some other employees who voiced concerns and had more scruples. Not okay. At all. Dishonest with small means dishonest with larger things, all it needs it the opportunity....

I recently visited the Eldersburg Home Depot Store after having bad/no service elsewhere where I couldn’t get any help. So I was very pleased with the quick and efficient service provided by Mr. David Bebe who helped me at the Eldersburg store with contracting to purchase a new replacement patio door and associated installation. Looking forward to having this project completed soon.

The employees value its customers. I have been here multiple times (easily fifteen) and this has proven to be true. I am not one to write reviews (call it selfish) but I have a busy life.... great store in a great area with great employees who treat customers with respect.

As my shopping experience was during my lunch break, time was of the essence. And I was grateful to the cashier, Norma, who didn't waste any time. She was also mindful about pkg so nothing fell out or ripped bags. She was especially friendly and portrayed self-pride for a job well done. Thank you.

The Eldersburg location is always nice and clean inside and out. All employees on the floor are typically friendly and eager to lend a helping hand. If you can't find an item there is always an employee around to ask and if they can't help you they find someone who can. Cashiers are friendly and courteous. Returning an item is quick and painless.

This Home Depot site has some of the friendliest and most experienced staff I've encountered at a home improvement/contractor supply store. There are several outstanding regular employees that I have repeatedly found reliable in knowing exactly where to find things, what tool or solution I need, the pros & cons of products and which is best in which situations, and I trust to help me find a solution to the occasional irregular problems that arise. I have only once been annoyed when the local store would not match the Home Depot pricing online. However, I was told that was a corporate decision and not an individual store policy.

This is the best Home Depot in our area though not the closest.

this store has great customer service and is working hard to create a great experience - i highly recommend the lumber dept, George Bowman will make your day! Also in the custom order - windows and doors - the staff is super helpful. Cashiers we encounter are pleasant and welcoming. Paint Department also has great customer skills and is patient and knowledgeable. All of these departments along with the plant department we frequent alot! You have a good thing going here - keep it up and don't cut short your staff - that's the killer at many of the home depot stores in the area - not enough staff!

This location was very neat and clean had a large variety of everything I am glad to took the chance of going to this location they have outstanding customer service there is one employee in particular named George Bowman he has outstanding customer service and he goes above and beyond to make sure you have a smile on your face when you leave there, I was more than pleased when I lefted yesterday no other location I been to in all my years have I ever had a experience like the one I had yesterday it definitely made my life much easier they get ten stars in my book**********
