The Sykesville store always has friendly employees that are willing to help me when I need help. I previously lived a half hour away and 4 years ago I moved 5 minutes away from Home Depot. I always have a project going on for myself or a relative or neighbor. I make many trips there and they always have what I need.

Of the home improvement stores including other Home Depots, Eldersburg's store is the friendliest, and most neighborly that I have ever experienced. I had some projects in mind and Billy, from hardware, demonstrated details of what to do and expect. His concern for safety and interest for a successful project was refreshing. Women are treated equally at this store, and are encouraged to try anything that the store has to offer. I can't wait to start my next project. Thank you.

I drove out of my way to go to this Home Depot because they had green Metal Roofing in stock, I did find the six sheets of green Metal Roofing. After that I had a miserable experience with the cashier Norma who could not manage to find anything in the system that I had purchased, then Norma ended up charging me $46.82 for two pieces of red metal roofing that I did not have nor did I ever get. Now before I can be refunded for the two pieces of red metal roofing that I did not get. I must drive an hour back to the store to produce my receipt, can’t see how this is necessary now that everything is on there computer and receipt / number with everything I purchased and the credit card number to be refunded. Now I have to dispute the charge through my credit card company thanks for the headache Home Depot!

If you need any type of assistance here seek out the help oldest employee.The rest aren't trained on doing anything but stocking shelves and will not offer to help.

I asked a employee who was sitting on a forklift for assistance with getting 9 sheets of 3/4 " 4x8 plywood.The employee told me 9 SHEETS of plywood wasn't enough for forklift assistance,that I could just use a handcart for that.He was not only LAZY,he was wrong!The handcart could only take 6 sheets of plywood.

The store had excellent customer service during my visit, I had been to other Home depot were I had to wait and employs just walked by without acknowledging or helping us. One store even when we asked for help no one came to help for 30 mts and we walked out. This store Rob was very helpful and I recommend this store to everyone.

I have 4 large box stores I could easily go to from the central location of my home. I choose The Home Depot in Eldersburg for the friendly and knowledgible staff and pleasant atmosphere. Staff say hello and truly want to be helpful to their customers. I choose Eldersburg!

The right arm doesn't talk to the left arm at this location. service desk doesn't know who or what skills the employees have. Wasted over an hour trying to get a lock rekeyed. Only to return it for a refund. I'll buy it somewhere else.

What a great store to have nearby... All of my gardening, patio, painting, lighting needs in one stop shopping!

Specifically- I want to recommend the gentleman who assisted me with my HUGE order of mulch- Art was already into a busy morning, and hearing that I wanted 30 bags probably made him mentally groan- but he busted a** ! There weren't any other employees that appeared to help out either- just Art and I , chatting the whole time like old friends. I wish I got his last name- but I'm sure that a man with such a great work ethic and attitude will be easy to recognize in this review! DB

I have never had a problem with any of the associates that work at this store, they are always helpful. Last year one of them, an older gentleman (has a darkened lens on his glasses) that I had asked about the location of some lumber, even helped me load the lumber in my truck, can't beat that. This store is clean and organized and this saves me time when I'm in a hurry.

The bathroom is consistently clean and the staff make you feel welcomed. Employees are really professional and helpful in most cases.
