If you need help in lighting avoid Rusty! Extremely rude and tries to run away if he sees you need help. He acts like he is too important to help women, like women are dumb and belong at home. Little does he know I renovate homes and manage rental properties.

Great store. Nice location. The parking can be crazy on weekends but it always seems to have the items in Stock that I need. Thanks homedepot

Everyone was helpful. Ken in the appliance area was particularly helpful, courteous, calm, knowledgeable, and patient, spending 1 1/2 hours with me to get what I needed, for the best price, delivered as soon as possible, and what I needed to do to be prepared for installation and disposal of old appliances.

Very appreciative of this location-convenient - all employees are extremely helpful. The lady who oversees the custodial outside the building...have had passing conversation with her on multiple occasions when leaving the garden dept.-really genuine, amiable and such a ray of sunshine - a credit to the biz.

Every employee at this store is friendly and helpful-if an associate doesn't know an answer, they connect you with someone who does. Inside and out-store is clean and organized.

The Encinitas store is very convenient, located near other major retailers. The parking is easy. The staff are always friendly and helpful!

The store is the same as any other Home Depot. all the same stuff with all the same type of organization. I have been a regular customer that comes in several times a week for years, and I have finally had my limit of disappointing customer service. I was "helped" by a gentleman in the lumber section today that interrupted me and walked away while telling me he was busy- before I could even ask a question. As I was waiting to speak with him he was telling another guy that he was too busy to help him either. I was hesitant to write a review because I understand having a bad egg in the bunch, but I have had experiences like this consistently in the past year. It doesn't feel "worth it" to go to a store that doesn't seem to really want my money and treats me like I am more of a burden in the isle than someone trying to make a purchase.

When your shopping experience begins by long lines to park and you think why don't I go somewhere else? The customer service is over the top and worth the wait by far. This store has an excellent crew.

The store is cluttered with too many end caps throughout the aisles. Arnold (Plumbing) is awesome and helped me find what I need.

I am never disappointed by the service and the courtesy of the staff at this store. I do a little home improvement on my own and am not particularly knowledgeable, so it always is nice to get suggestions and help from the staff. The store seems always to be clean and well stocked.

THE EMPLOYEES I CONTACTED WERE MOSTLY UNHELPFUL, NOT WILLING TO GO TO DIFFICULT SPOT TO FIND WHAT I INTEND TO BUY. HAVING SHOPPED IN THE STORY FOR QUITE A WHILE, I WOULD SAY HALF OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE LIKE THIS. JOB TRAINING IS NECESSARY. AT LEAST LET THEM KNOW: BE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TO CUSTOMERS.

My 2nd most visited Home Depot stores is in Vista on Melrose. It's fun to just go up and down each aisle sometimes looking at different things!

I can usually always find what I need here...and don't have to wait too long for assistance. I'm very happy this store is close by to my home.

I AM CONSISTENTLY MET WITH FRIENDLY ASSISTANCE FROM WALKING IN THE DOOR TO CHECK OUT AT THE ENCINITAS HOME DEPOT. FROM APPLIANCES TO VACUUMS MY NEEDS ARE MET FROM EARLY IN THE MORNING WILL LATE AT NIGHT!

This store is absolutely amazing. Saw a garden display in the front and Mario cut the lumber, gathered the blocks and helped design one for my space. Richard helped with plant/veggie selection and soil, Sky was/is always so friendly and quick at checkout. Then...Dave noticed how large and heavy my purchase was and loaded my car. Talk about full service Way to Go, hope home depot realizes what great employees they have Thanks

Hard to find help, associate who did help was very rude and inept. Got home to find products were not right- a waste of time and money.

I live very close to your Encinitas store and am there probably 3-4 days/week. Everyone there is very nice and I appreciate that they hire people with disabilities. The check out girls are always very nice and work hard to get me out quickly.This store is always packed with customers,so they must be doing something right. Keep up the good work and look into the plywood thing as you will notice it needs to be better. Thanks, Mike

The associates were readily available to ask questions. I had a plumbing emergency and found what I needed!

Ask for Neil in paint department. He knows his stuff and he was so patient with me while I had my newborn son. He knew everything I would need to get two bedrooms painted quickly and easily and smiled and was so kind to me. The paint he recommended was perfect and he was so fast to get it ready!

It is always a positive experience at the Encinitas Home Depot! Great selection and prices and friendly staff! I am doing a remodel and found just about everything I need there! The garden department is also great!

Workers go out of their way to walk you to the correct aisles/ department and will even install parts ie into my broken lamp switch if you request it. I couldn't have done it myself and I was able to have light when I got home rather than just buy a piece and have to figure it out myself as to how to install it.
