Are Kids Workshops offered at the Ft Walton Home Depot?

Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

To the Gent that Helped me with my shopping needs

The man was polite, he asked me what I needed help with after he took care of the other 2 customers he was already helping, the floor was under staff and this guy was glad to help even offered to carry the item to the check out line for me.

Great customer interaction

Huge shout out to Angie at the Fort Walton Beach Florida store! She was so understanding, kind and had great customer service. She helped us get a new washer and dryer set up for my in-laws and made the process so smooth. She made the bad taste in our mouth from another competitor a distant memory. Thank you for offering great service through this team member.

Home Depot Cares!

I work with a non profit for military families and we reached out to Home Depot for donations for a building project to better support military families in our community. The folks here went above and beyond to help us, especially their manager Joe! From the moment we walked into the store, to the moment we left, their entire team of associates was helpful and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond. We are so thankful for their donation and contribution to our local military community!

Carpet Installation Services

Mike came out to measure for two rooms of carpet. The measure appointment progressed smoothly. The only irritation was two separate charges for the installation address being outside the catchment area of the selling store. The major irritation was paying for the order. My wife and I drove to the store to return the borrowed samples and pay. The written order didn’t match the quote; items were missing. The associate wanted me to accept the order as written (at the slightly lower price). The associate didn’t have a good answer when I asked what the recourse would be when the installer did NOT show up with the required item that didn’t appear on the sales order.

Washer Dryer purchase experiences

The older gentleman that works the washer dryer section is always polite and helpful. I wish I had his name but his hair is white and he wears glasses. If another employee is responsible for the section’s product I’m needing, he has always taken the time for a warm hand-off. He was patient and took the time to answer all my questions when purchasing my washer and dryer Aug 2023 at the Fort Walton location.

Simple shopping

As a property manager I make trips to The Home Depot quite often with a list of things to pick up. What I like the most is how I can go on my local store website for an item it will tell me how many are in stock, what isle and bay I can find it, making my trips fast and efficient so I can be on my way.

Toilet changeout

We had all three toilets replaced to update. Home Depot did an excellent job. My only negative observation is that they didn't send enough help, and that one of the toilets may need further attention.
