Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals in 2026?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Be sure to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
