Best selection of all the surounding hardware stores, friendly Staff

Overall, I would say this Home Depot location is above average. Unfortunately, it is the closest one for me . I don't think employees are overly helpful at Home Depot in general, but my overall experience with the employees in this store is that they are well below average. In the 20+ times I have been in this store, I don't think anyone has ever asked to help me. During times when I specifically sought out help, I have more often than not been met with someone totally incompetent, lacking even basic knowledge of home repair needs. Last time I was here, I asked two ladies who were chatting at the customer help desk to send someone to the aisle I was in, and they just looked at me confused. The call never went out. I wouldn't recommend this store anyone. It might be worth a longer trip to the North Ave one.

I enjoy shopping at this Home Depot location. The store is neat and well organized and there's always staff available to provide assistance. Items are always in stock. I have never left this store feeling disappointed by my experience or unsatisfied with a purchase.

Terrible

The parking lot makes it very convenient. The employees are very helpful and respectful. There are several self check outs which makes it much faster. The amount of stuff they have is amazing. The only thing I recommend is to install a map of the building at some locations of it to show where you are and where are other departments located because sometimes employees are not around and you need to just wonder around to see everywhere to find for example pluming stuffs.

Go see Rachel! She'll hook you up and solve any problems you encounter. Had a very positive experience with her even though I had some delivery problems. She spent over 2 hours on the phone with different vendors and delivery people to find a solution. She is the epitome of good customer service.

You will receive great customer service. Myron is a knowledgeable employee and super helpful!

When I had a repair project,I used to shop around to try to get the best price for my materials often times settling for lower quality items.I soon discovered that,for the price and the assurance that the store would have exactly what I was looking for,I go to Home Depot. You can't miss doing that.

Went there the first time for a piece of wood and asked many employees if they could help cut it into a paddle because they have done so at the store before but they all said they were unable to. Went th try again after a couple of days to find a way to somehow cut the piece of wood into a paddle and Andrew from lumber helped us out and did a great job

Andrew, the departmental supervisor in lumber, and John, the tool rental departmental supervisor went above and beyond to make my shopping experience at South Loop Home Depot a memorable one. I was in need of 4ft rebar which the store was supposed to have in stock, but once I was there, I found there was only 1 unit (rather than the 100s based on the online inventory). I came to that store specifically for that reason, but rather than send me to another store, Andrew and John worked to resolve the situation by cutting 10ft pieces in half which worked even better than the 4ft size. Thank you Andrew and John for your time and excellent customer service!

This store has exceptional customer service!

There was a store employee available in the department I needed right away both times I went to look over their refrigerators. Very helpful, informative and knowledgeable about the refrigerators I was interested.

Good Store local and always stocked, thats where we go for all our cleaning product needs.

This location has always had great customer service! Staff greets you with a smile and they are so knowledgeable . Other Home Depot stores could learn a lot from them!

Great selection!

I always feel confident that I got the correct information and products when I leave this store. The team there provides great customer service, and is very patient with questions from a first time home owner. They really also do a great job with treating women with respect, courtesy and patience. It transforms going to the hardware store into a pleasant chore!

I have found the service at this store location #1950, to be exquisite!! The employees at this location give their all and all while during this very busy time of year. I can't imagine how more efficient their services will be during any other time. They Are Great!! Thank You!!

The sales persons are very nice and friendly, the store was clean and organized.

I visited the store three times in two days, like most people that have a project going. I found the employees very friendly and helpful especially Stacey my cashier.
