Compared with my last visit months ago, associates on the floor were readily available and knowledgeable as to where to find the products I was looking for. Rather than peering where I had already looked, they pointed me right to where I needed to find a given item ("aisle five, right side, lower shelf, on our end", for example). I was able to pick up everything I needed, and quickly. Thanks to any extra training & orientation to get the team on point! Keep it up.

There is a very good selection of materials and tools at this location. The customer service employees are excellent. One of the elevators is consistently out of order. I don’t mind that the only method of checking out is self-service. However, I really don’t like that one is forced to grab the scanner. Given how bacteria and viruses are spread, forcing everyone to hold the scanner is a poor idea.

I bought the plastic and plants last month, because it was a great! day to buy one or two. On that day at the plant garden and plants looked great! But the poinsettias looked like they needed water. How are you going to bed to pick a great! plant, if it doesn't stand straight up. This was at the Roosevelt and Canal Home Depot store.

Seems like your escalators never work. With how close you are to downtown. You would think they would be repaired fast.

I recently visited Home Depot on a rainy Saturday, and the wonderful customer service I received made my day brighter. From employees asking me if I needed help as I selected items in various aisles to Chris C. in the Doors Department to the checkout person who provided me with a box, I felt like a valued customer.

My favorite store. A very helpful staff, I always seem to walk out with one more item on my list - that I find out I needed lol.

Please fix them. They have been broken for months

I am waiting for a phone call from someone to measure my back door for a replacement storm. AND WAITING. AND WAITING. [and then I'll be surprised if it doesn't take several weeks to get the rest of the job done--measure, order the replacement door, install and haul away the existing storm door] COVID IS OVER, PEOPLE. Start paying employees whatever it takes to get them trained and working, or your hardware retailing days are truly over. There are competitors.

I had a $200,000 commercial office buildout that I was able to complete due to the staff being patient and exuding a thorough knowledge in their perspective departments. Some of the staff were not very friendly others were very helpful. It seem like the person that was not very friendly. Felt like we were not very important yet. I am on a Elite spender.

It is a pleasant experience to shop at this location. Pretty much, the workers are consistent in assisting customers to get the items they are in need of purchasing. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am mostly pleased when I shop here.

The location is very convenient for me. Each department has an employee to help out. Joe, the store manager is a great person.

One of my favorite stores for various reasons, and the fact that they haul away our old appliances is so convenient and hassle-free. I have been their customer for many years and sometimes I visit their stores not just to buy, but also because I like to spend time there.

This is always my go to spot! End of discussion. Folks are friendly and the hardware shop is my favorite place to be.

I’m pregnant and tried buying plants and the skew # wouldn’t register correctly and instead of putting in another item that is the same price she just had me wait standing on my feet until I finally said I didn’t want it- I would have been there all day while she chatted and ignored me.

Make sure you have plenty of time to spend checking out at the South Loop location since they “improved” the checkout process. The employees are great, but checking out is brutal.

I bought different items, I got good deals.

We ordered Ecosmart LED bulbs (3 pack) and 3 Hampton Bay Linear Track Lighting Heads. The delivery worker brought the Ecosmart bulbs and told us the Lighting Heads would be delivered by another worker later. Turned out she was wrong (or lying), as she marked the order delivery as “complete”. The lighting heads were never going to be delivered to us. We found this out after calling Home Depot and being told by the phone service agent after 30 minutes that he can’t help us. He then told us to call South Loop branch (from which we made the online purchase). The guy on the phone at South Loop was great but not enough at all to mitigate our first experience with Home Depot online which was just horrible. So, after an hour or so, we were left with half a solution to our home issue, a reminder to check that Home Depot is going to make the refund for undelivered items and a walk to a physical Home Depot store to buy the undelivered item.

I highly recommend this business. The location is covenant, and their customer service is second to none. I was completely impressed with the employee's professionalism and customer service.
