Whirlpool
I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator that was a dud it's taken 3 months for it to be returned and another 3 weeks for at least for the return or refund I had to go through 3 months of no ice and they didn't seem to care and then the refund for the fridge was late I'll try not to go to Home Depot again

Lack of service employees
Just purchased a fridge but it was challenging. Knew exactly what we wanted but getting someone to write it up to purchase not so easy. Several employees kept telling us it wasn't their department. Took 2 pages for someone to come. frustrating

Chainsaw hunt.
My husband and I went to Home Depot to purchase a chainsaw. He wanted one that ran on gas, not batteries. He also wanted a 20 inch bar and chain. He found a nice Ryobi that was exactly what he wanted. We had some difficulty finding someone that could unlock the one he wanted in the cage. I went to look for someone or one of the "Need Help" button to summon someone to come help. I couldn't find one in that department. Luckily, an employee did come by while I was on the hunt for someone. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. He reminded my husband what needed to be done before using the new chainsaw. This new chainsaw is a replacement for a much older one. My husband knows what he's doing, but it was nice to have someone remind or inform you what needs to be done before using equipment for the 1st time.
Checkout was easy and we did purchase the 2 year warranty on the chainsaw. In less than an hour after returning home the chainsaw was working and performed as expected. My husband is happy with the new Ryobi gas powered 20" chainsaw.

Leave me alone!!
The store is great. Selection of items is great but if you want self checkout let it be self checkout. I don't need you running up to my cart pulling things out and taking over what you wanted me to do. No I don't need your help!! At least ask if I do.

Excellent experience
If you're looking for appliances go see GiGi she's an excellent sales person very friendly bilingual She knew herself the whole experience was worth doing if you like me you have money toys so we watched home Depot prices they always have special things for the holiday and they didn't disappoint It was an excellent experience and we saved money I will and pictures once it is delivered on Friday I'm so excited and like I said go ,go see GiGi. And God bless you We left their full smile I'm a senior I don't mess around I have time just hang out the stuff and experience was worth the time and didn't take all day

Hate self check outs.
Home Depot in Spring Hill, Florida has no inside the store check outs for regular customers. I refuse and will not use self check outs. Like other stores that totally rely on self check outs, I simply avoid doing business with them.

On-Line Order was delivered "EARLY"
This was my second order of HUSKY garage cabinets. They arrived EARLY and of course; the Home Depot staff help me load them into my vehicle. LOVE this store.

Friendliness
I was greeted the minute I came though the door. I was approached in the isles to see if I needed help. The cashiers at self checkout were very helpful when I had trouble with the Checkout machine.

Poor management and customer service
I have shopped at the Spring hill location every day since it opened. I'm a licensed contractor. The last several visits I have been either disappointed with service or have had no assistance at all. Management has had to have changed. I will shop elsewhere.

Self service... what a joke
What is the point of self checkout if...
1. I don't get paid to do your job
2. There is zero benefit to the customer.
3. Your employee has to help me checkout anyhow...
4. If I am doing the cashiers job, why don't I get paid.. or save any $$$ for doing their work... FOR FREE.
I could go on for days
Self checkout only at this location and it sucks.

Great Customer Service
Ordered a work bench on line and it was delivered damaged. The work bench is heavy and I just imagined problems getting a replacement. HomeDepot.com had originally told me they would send a new top however changed their mind as the tops were not available. I went to customer service in the store and first spoke with Chairel. Chairel immediately showed concern for my situation and basically took charge of finding a way to rectify this issue. In summary, she cared about me, her job and Home Depot. Dealing with Chairel immediately calmed my nerves as I did want a replacement work bench. I was not just trying to return a damaged one. Chairel took notes and made notes in the computer as to my situation and informed me someone would be calling soon to arrange for a pick up of the damaged item. Chairel just took ownership of my problem and wanted to fix it. That same day, Melissa from Customer Service called and informed me she had arranged for the damaged table to be picked up and would call homedepot.com to make sure I received the sale price on the new bench I had just ordered. Melissa also took ownership of this problem with the idea it would be resolved in my best interest. After a few days I returned to Customer Service just to make sure I was doing everything correctly and that I understood the process. I met with Kelsey in Customer Service that day and she also took ownership of issue and reviewed what had happened so far, made arrangements for a pick up date for the damaged table and advised me what to do when the new table arrived in the store. Kelsey was kind and thorough enough to give me this information in writing to make it more clear. The damaged table was picked up a few days ago and I picked up the new table today. It is in perfect condition and Chairel went with me to receive the table and make sure the new one was not damaged. I can't say enough about the great customer service these three ladies provided. They were able to turn a discouraging situation into a very positive experience. I feel obligated to make sure that Chairel, Kelsey and Melissa are commended for their efforts. Home Depot will now be my first go to store for everything because of how I was treated and how the staff cared about me.

I like the large staff, always kind and helpful
I had extensive repairs to perform on my home after the hurricanes and shopped Home Depot almost daily for months. Every time I was there, the staff went out of their way to help. Greatly appreciated!

Online order not ready after 4 hrs
I bought 5 gallons of paint online at 10:43a for p/u at my closest home depot store. Received confirmation of order but never received the text indicating the order was ready. By 4pm, I decided to go the store. I was extremely disappointed to find my order was never picked. I was sent the paint department and was told they never received my order. After I presented my confirmation number and other information, they able to pull up my order.. I had to do what I thought I avoided by placing my order online. I had to wait for 5 gallons to be picked and the tint added and the shaking of the can.. did not receive a clear reason for why it happened.

Early morning easy shopping
I wish I would have caught the gentlemen name. He saw me standing by the saw and offered help. We had quite a delightful conversation while he was cutting a piece of wood for me. Seems like the best time to go is very early in the morning.
