I purchase a lot of Husky contractor bags and some tools. You always have the items I am looking for and have a friendly staff working there.

Bought an air compressor, listed online for 99$ in store 129$ was told to buy online (while standing in line at checkout in the store) to get that price bc they could Or change the prices, the to head down to customer service to pick up my online order ( already had it in my cart) got there and 45 min later my order still had not “ processed” I could t leave the store the kid at the register was telling me there was nothing he could do, even tho I had a receipt with an order number on it etc. finally some one comes up and asks what’s going on and I explain. She tells kid at register why don’t u cancel the I line order and ring her out for the online price! ( WHAT THE ACTUAL !!!) so he says oh yeah I could do that. Why did it take 45 min , why did I have to go through any of that. Why do u not match your online prices? Also why does a veteran with valid photo id need to register on a website to prove they are a veteran to get the advertised 10% discount on a few items? A valid id is proof. It’s illegal to pretend to be a veteran.. it’s called stolen valour and you can go to jail.

We have bought over 25 items for upcoming holiday. Great service finding items. Always positive, and friendly staff!

We had just lost power and wanted 2 Ryobi clamp fans to keep air moving throughout the night with the higher heat and no A/C. I saw there were 13 fans still in stock, so I rushed over to grab what I needed. When I arrived, there was only 1 fan on the shelf. I asked the cashier at the Pro Desk if she could verify whether or not they had what was showing online. She verified the location of the remaining fans and asked for someone to bring them to the front for me. I had what I needed in less than 10 minutes and was on my way. I always have the best customer service when I need it at the Valparaiso Home Depot.

I am very happy with the products that I purchase at this store as well as the friendliness and willingness to help customers that need help in finding/choosing items to purchase.

The person initially handling our $5k+ order was incompetent and consequently our sliding glass door order was botched and it took from May to late July to execute the contract. I would recommend Tom in millwork. His 24 years of experience sure came through for us.

Purchased a shed, a costly ordeal; but Louis the salesman was fantastic and even helped us to find some cost savings and Shawn at checkout made the experience cordial and swift. Thanks guys! You are a testament to true customer service!

I bought this you had only two in the whole store 24×80 bifold door needed two for 48 in opening 400$ that's a ripoff

Went to purchase a generator that we found online for $820 and the manager at the store stay that she will not honor that price due to the skus being different from online and in store even though the item was the same. The store charged us $899 and that is not including tax for the item.

Everytime I go into the VALPO Home Depot it is a good experience. The employees are helpful and nice, the store is clean and usually has what I need in stock. I also appreciate a dog friendly store!

This store is clean, well organized, and laid out well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I travel to art markets and purchased 2 wheeled totes to carry my supplies. I wish I had gotten them long ago because it is so much better than carrying totes and pushing them on a cart. They are sturdy and hold alot so I don’t need as many to transport all of my displays and products. Love them!

Erica and Jeff in the Pro department are simply the best. Erica and Jeff in the pro department will absolutely go above and beyond to help everyone with all of their needs. Sherry in paint is simply the best. She always makes sure I have my paint tray combo.

Joseph is always very helpful and provides exceptional service.

My husband and I went in to buy stain for our deck. Greg L that works in paint department was very helpful! He helped us know what steps to take to have a successful staining experience. He showed us all the tools we needed and was very friendly and professional. I’ll return to your pain department because of him.

I purchased a Cub Cadet mower and Stephanie H went above and beyond to make sure I got the exact mower I wanted with all the options I wanted.

Every time I go in this store I am greeted with friendly courteous people always going out of their way to help any way they can. Each one of them is a great asset to the store

The employees are always very helpful and accommodating! Always making sure that we have what we need! If you can’t find it in store, it can be ordered online.

We were greeted by staff, another staff member offered help with our lawn mower purchase. Jane was our cashie, she was very helpful and nice.

I felt fortunate to have run into Olivia who helped me with all the items I needed.

My husband and I were shopping for landscaping items, flowers, shrubbery and the staff was extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to help us. We appreciated that, because most of the time when you go to a store there is literally no one around to help, and if you happen to find someone, you feel as though you were a bother to them. We felt really welcomed as soon as we stepped into the store and had several employees ask us if they could help us find anything.

We ordered fencing material and was helped by Jeff at the Pro counter to get all the parts we needed. He took his time with our drawing and what type of fencing we were interested in and helped to complete our order. Katie B. was also very helpful to add our military discount to the order after the fact. Both are very professional and nice as many of the employees at the Valparaiso Home Depot are. The fence is not up yet, or I would add a photo!

Stephanie H was very helpful trying to find the product that I needed. I hope she’s there the next time I need to find a product!

I bought a home that I refer to as the money out. I have a lot of repairs that need to be done and are currently being done. Home Depot walked me through the biggest purchase (floors) and patiently assisted me every step. I was treated with respect and courtesy.
