I purchase FOUR new appliances from Home Depot. Although there were many snags in the process I’ll focus on the one that angered us the most. The install was delayed twice so we didn’t even open the box. When they finally attempted to install, we found that the microwave was too large. I promptly ordered a new, more substantially more expensive one. When I tried to return the previous one I was denied. I called the call center, and reached out to the store-to no avail. They were adamant that I only had 48 hours to return. I explained that we didn’t even SEE it until the installation men came! I feel the store could have allowed the return and simply put the box on the shelf!!! And, in speaking with the store the manage didn’t even get on the phone with me-he was speaking in the background for the lady to translate to me!! The customer service representative even tried calling the store but they wouldn’t budge! Terrible!

I have not seen The Home Depot broadcast this, but The Home Depot offers an immediate 10% discount to active military and veterans. Now, that's respect and appreciation for those that have served.

You always want to evaluate the store personnel. you need to evaluate store policy. You advertise discounts for military veterans, yet everytime I shop there, I'm always told that the particular items I'm purchasing are not eligible!!!!!! Your veterans program is a joke and the last time I shopped, will probably be the last!!!

Thanks to Jim and Steve we got everything we needed for our drywall project. They were so helpful and went above and beyond for us. We will be back just because of them!

We just had our carpet installed and our installers were absolutely fantastic! They were professional friendly, and did an awesome job

All the sales associates that I met were very kind and very willing to help. To that stand out our David in the flooring area and Rochelle at the checkout counter.

Morgan and Paul in the lumber department was so helpful. Helped me pick out things and load my truck. Outstanding job and I will definitely come back.

The employee that assisted me with a Ridgid tool purchase was very helpful and knowledgeable. The process to purchase a battery tool was somewhat cumbersome . You have to have an employee unlock the tool storage area under the tools that are on display. If you decide to purchase the tool the employee escorts you and the tool to the check out area where you then complete the process. The employee took the time to explain it is a company policy. I can relate to the policy due to the rampant theft in some stores.

We had gone to Wisconsin Rapids first as their website said what we needed was available. It wasn’t. The customer service personnel we called set up our order before we arrived. The man and woman who helped us at the pro service desk were outstanding. We needed a few more things and had to tweak our order. They were incredibly patient and helpful. The service couldn’t have been better. Thanks!!

I am working a kitchen remodel and found a fantastic kitchen designer in the Wausau home depot. Look up Mr Bailey in the kitchen design center and let him work his magic for you.

4 great helpers in 1 visit, all women. 1 in outdoors for specific plant and hardware needs, one just walking by who got me oriented to tools I needed and the right aisles. Then 2 in paint who upgraded my knowledge on products/their performance and the department services. Wow!

I had some issues with online purchases and orders being cancelled forcing me to purchase what I wanted at a higher price to get the combination of Milwaukee outdoor power tools I wanted. Customer service was understanding and patient with me as I returned the online order, and they were willing to work with me to get me the same online price for the tool combo I originally wanted.

Today my husband, a veteran, and came and bought a pallet of pavers. Help in the garden department was exceptional. However when my husband went to checkout at the back of the store, Amanda was very dismissive when my Vietnam Era veteran husband struggled to pull up his military discount. He asked she wait a moment to called me for help. I was less than a minute away. Amanda denied him the opportunity to ask me for help (he can work on military vehicles but struggles with technology at 76 years old. He depends on me for that.). When I arrived I asked her about rectifying the discount and she told me to go back to customer service as Mike ‘wasn’t in the system’. I assure he is and we’ve used the discount many times. I waited inside while the pallet was as being loaded. Sharon was now at the checkout. Amanda told Sharon to ‘take good care’ of the next customer as ‘he fills out surveys’. (So do I). Sharon was positively wonderful. When my husband returned she was ever so helpful with applying Mike’s discount and even offered us water I have always enjoyed Shaon. We shop the Wausau Home Depot because we’ve always had wonderful experiences with its employees. I’m just hoping Amanda was having a bad day. I could see her rush if there had been other customers waiting. There weren’t anymore customers until I had been there several moments. I will still shop Wausau Home Depot. Today was upsetting for my husband though. It appears his app needed to update on his phone. It’s working properly now.

Everything I go to this store, it is always clean and organized. Isles are wide enough for traffic to go down.

I stopped at Home Depot to compare name brand cordless 18 guage nailer. Both brands were on display so I could evaluate each tool's pros and cons.

From the moment I entered this store there were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team members that were ready to help! It was rainy and gloomy outside, but their smiles and enthusiasm sure brightened my day! The store was generously stocked, well lit and well organized. Why go anywhere else?
