Due to location of wheels, which I believe they are located on the wrong side, isn’t hard to move it around?
Its desiged for the firebox to be your handle when moving.
Will it fit a 25lb gator?
Thank you for your question. Yes, it more so depends on the length. The 1733 will hold 25 lbs. meat.
Does the thermometer in the center of the hood get in the way of cooking a 14# turkey?
Thank you for your question. The thermometer should not be an issue, however, you may have to remove the warming rack if you have one.
Will this fit a 16 lb brisket?
Thank you for your question. Some say that an 18 lb. brisket can fit on a Char-Griller Smokin' Champ 1733. A whole packer brisket typically weighs 12–16 lbs., but some recommend choosing a brisket that's 12–14 lbs. for best results.
Does this grill have an ash tray or do you have to shovel them out? The reason I ask is our local Menards has one on display and it has no ash tray
