[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My laundry smells so good and looks so clean with this machine, and time in the dryer is about 10 minutes shorter than with my old top loader. And it’s so much quieter. My only complaint is the ease with which the power can accidentally be turned on. I solved the problem by inserting a piece of cardboard behind the button.

I've had this washer for a couple of months. It replaced my HE Kenmore top loader that died. This is my first Maytag and my first front loader. I read a ton of reviews about a mildew smell developing and got some advice from women at work. I use a microfiber towel to wipe down the door and the rubber gasket for the door, including in the crease of the rubber gasket. I leave the door ajar. I have absolutely zero problems - no smell and the washer is FANTASTIC. Bonus: it tells me the number of minutes remaining until the cycle is complete. Love it! I don't think my clothes have ever been cleaner. I'm so glad I got a front loader and that I finally tried the Maytag brand. I got the matching dryer and this is a winning pair. Makes doing laundry a breeze. I actually look forward to it now. HIGHLY recommend this washer!

It has been a few weeks since the purchase. The product exceeds my expectations. I especially like the quick wash feature which is great for small loads. It does a good job of handling towels and heavy clothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was the least expensive in its class. I did a lot of comparing. I've only used it 5 times. I find adding a garment to be awkward. Instructions say to pause it. There's no pause button, so I hit the power button. The cycle started over, and the items came out wet. So I had to put them into a spin cycle. The black door is a magnet for and shows lots of dust. Every time I walk past it, I wipe it down. It's by the back door so maybe that makes it worse. The black handle it is a well for dust and hard to clean. (Photo) For the price I imagine it's a good choice. I'd prefer a silver or white door with a clear glass. I realize the dust issue is superficial, but it's my shiny new expensive addition and I'd like for it to sparkle.

The washing machine is quiet and runs very smooth, even when spinning on high speed. The average wash time has been about 44 minutes for a full load. The machine is very efficient with water and detergent. Clothes are coming out perfectly clean. We are very pleased with this washing machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had it for a month and love it. The last Front Loader we had (LG) Shook the house and was super noisy. You can seat a cup of coffee on this Maytag and never spill a drop while on spin cycle and it is nice and quiet!!

This has replaced my 13 yr old Maytag Neptune and the latest technology makes this unit simple to use. Only have had it for less than a month but we do a lot laundry with two teenage boys. One can customize each setting and it will remember that setting for the next wash. A lot of nice features. We bought the pedestal to match the height of the dryer and much nicer than the old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our asian-brand washing machine died about 1 1/2 months ago - a bearing went out that would have cost more than a new washer to replace, so Maytag was chosen to replace it. Old machine - complex / New machine - simple but solid (and American made, we’re told). This Maytag is easy to operate and a pleasure to use. The spin cycle leaves little moisture to dry, and most important, clothes are clean - QUICKLY! Negatives - it’s a bit too easy to power up, being very touch-sensitive, and the soap drawer will leak down if liquids are allowed to sit. Otherwise, in most areas I gave this machine 5 stars. “Features” got 4 stars as there aren’t extra features, just good useful ones. “Innovation” also got 4 stars as Maytag didn’t re-invent the washer, they just provided necessary cleaning cycles, etc. “Sound Levels” got a 4 star rating because it’s not a silent machine, nor intrusive. This is a solidly built washer and runs so smoothly that my wife uses it as a plant stand. One feature that has yet to be tried is the extra detergent option, which is an extra cost item for our washer. We may decide to try this feature but for now prefer to add consumables as needed. Finally, as yet we haven’t tried the “steam for stains” setting, but will put it to use if needed. Summing up, it’s a solid, capable machine.

Had this for 3 year years. Then the control panel went out on it. $500.00 for a new control panel. If you do buy this get the max extended service plan. When the repair man came he said that it wasn't even filling the water as high as it should. It had been doing that all the time from day 1. Now it is setting here getting ready to haul away by another company today delivering a washer that cost less than the part to repair my old one.

I replaced my 15 year old maytag with this new one and maytag didn't let me down. It is a great washing machine. Uses less water, spins clothes out so well the dryer doesnt run as long and gets the clothes clean.

Love that I can wash large loads and not use so much water!

Received this washer 12/09/2017 and immediately noticed it was not dispensing the bleach or fabric softener. I originally thought it was an operator error. I read the manual to find the machine should automatically dispense the liquids regardless of settings. I called to schedule a date for a repair person to take a look. The earliest date and time acceptable was more than a week away. A day later the washer’s spin cycle stopped working. The machine now only gives error codes C7 and E1. I have no clue what that means. I do know, by the time the repair person arrives this brand new machine will have been broken for more days than it has worked. Actually it has never worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were amazed at how clean and fresh our clothes washed in our new Maytag washer and dryer. We stacked the units and performed a remake to our laundry room.

Together with wife decided to buy a twin washer and dryer Maytag for my mother, who just retired recently, as she went to live to her son, "the favorite one". She says that all her life wanted to have a matching set of washer and dryer, but it was just until now that she has gotten. She is very happy.

Warning: The Energyguide label they show on this site for this washer does NOT match the one you get when it arrives. The actual one shows 88 kWh yearly usage, but the one on this site shows 53. I bought this washer based mostly on its fantastic energy rating. The one on the Maytag site shows the higher amount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give this washer 5 stars, but I'm still waiting on customer service to answer my email about the wobbly drum and loud rattling noise. The knob is also super sensitive and will sing at you at the slightest touch when passing by. Other than that, I like it and I think it cleans my clothes really well.

I've only had this washer for maybe six weeks but the machine has been great. It's not very loud which is nice, and it doesn't seem to rock around a lot at all either. Some were complaining that the finished cycle signal is too quiet. It's audible from other rooms in my home. I have a small home though. Plus, I just use the gift of time and clocks to figure out when my laundry is finished so I don't care if I hear it or not. I leave the door open after a load finishes so it can air dry. So far so good! The white is nice looking and looks great with a dark painted wall behind it.

We love our new Maytag 4.3 cu ft HE washer. After 2 months of regular use, we have no complaints. It's height with the pedestal makes the washer so comfortable on your back as there is no bending or stretching to unload the items from the bottom of the unit. (I am short at only 5.3" with arthritis in my spine). I was concerned about possible mold order or cleaning issues and there have been none. We follow the directions to keep the washer door open when not in use and to wipe any excess water from the rubber seal area. We keep the washer in the basement and there have been no issues with the volume when the unit is running. However, we can hear the buzzer when the load is complete. One nice surprise is now much fresher the washed items seem. Even my daughter commented on the wonderful smell after we washed her couch pillows in the unit. We were very pleased with the results when washing my heavy queen size quilts. All of the options are wonderful like the extra rinse cycle and the delayed start option. We will be purchasing the matching Maytag dryer because we are so happy with this washer.

However after extensive research and shopping, I found no better purchase that Maytag. This machine is great. The materials and craftsmanship are second to none. This is my first Maytag coming from many other brands but I will definitely be a Maytag Family from this purchase on. Thank you for such a great experience. The cost vs Value is off the chart.

I received my stackable Maytag Washer & Dryer set about a month ago and LOVE them! I especially appreciate the Extraction feature on this washer. No more saturated clothes to dry! Which means, it cuts down on energy and adds to the life of the fabric. All this while looking attractive, too!
