Was not an adequate replacement for the 3/4HP LiftMaster garage door we have had for 15 years. It is significantly less well built. The rail is pretty weak tube; i guess so it can fit in a box on a HomeDepot shelf. The trolley is pretty flimsy. The motor is significantly weaker. The only benefit is that it was available on a Saturday morning when I really needed it before leaving for a week on a trip. I am going to find a LiftMaster. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

Yes... the opener is working as expected. Its operation is very quiet and user friendly.

I really love this garage door motor. I love that it is wifi abled. This adds another layer of protection. Very Quiet and operates wonderfully. Comes with two openers, and a key pad for your garage exterior. Within the app. you can open/close the garage and add members from your household.

As other purchasers noted in their remarks, the antenna for the remotes has a very short range - less than 10 feet from my car. I also did the quick and free reroute of the antenna to nearly double the remote range. It now hangs down outside of the case, instead of coiled up inside it. There is a slot in the light cover that allows you to easily route the antenna down the side of the unit, instead of being coiled inside. This helps - still doesn't have the range of my prior unit, but it is better.

a bit hard to install without specific instructions, otherwise it is a very nice and quite unit, we like it a lot.

Sounds like it is really struggling to do the job, I’m not sure it was installed properly. I left a review for the unsatisfactory installation from the Home Depot contractor and have had no response.

We were fed up with our Genie opener that had intermittent response issues with the remotes and keypad. The Chamberlain brand so far has been very responsive with the remotes, keypad, and MyQ app. Super quiet as well. We have two garages and have replaced both Genies with Chamberlain. Definitely recommend Chamberlain if you are tired of dealing with the Genie’s poor quality…

It’s really quiet, belt drive annd powerful I have a very heavy garage door! And moves it with ease!!!,… and love the smart phone app,. To open and close with my phone!!!
