Very easy to install for a DYI fan and provides a great surface on which to apply luxury vinyl tile. Just be sure your substrate is level or you will have soft spots due to the products flexibility. I found drilling holes in the product and injecting PLP did the trick for me. I think they should develop their own product to address this issue as their generic levellers do not work well on this product.

Easy to install and easy to cut and lightweight, have to be careful installing since it does crack/break easily and you need to install it simultaneously with the flooring as recommended since you can’t walk on it without flooring installed on it.

Easy to work with. Gives the floor a warm, soft feeling. Perfect between concrete and vinyl. Easy to install but seemed a bit expensive.

This was the perfect product for our garage conversion. We had a 1” concrete step up so we filled the rest of the garage floor with the dricore to insulate and level the space for seamless transition. Definitely keeping it warmer in there while we wait for hvac to be installed. Easy to install. Highly recommend.

When researching these tiles I was looking for something to raise the floor on the concrete as well as give me something to warm and keep damp and cold out. These are so much better then the regular dricore panels. Being 4x2 and simple connect into each other and then tape the seams and put your floor down. Small area done to test and now ready to add another 3000sq ft to finish my basement floor. Can’t wait

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a great product for underlay , but I got this to thought to try it out on my concrete floor in my garage/shed . Well i had to go out an get more as it didn’t cover all of it but I was so happy how much nice it was to walk on I have to cover the hole floor and it makes it so much warm on your feet as well . Also helps if you have a heater to keep things warmer

Very easy to cut and install. I used on concrete floor and installed laminate flooring over it. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for what I needed....preformed as expected...easy installation....be sure to follow installation instruction, avoid stepping on the foam boards without the new flooring installed

Fantastic product! Installation was a breeze and the concrete floor is definitely warmer. Less leg fatigue.

Concerned it would be very expensive to do a large space. Product was easy to use and install. Compared to other similar product I’ve used I found it very versatile and a good product. I would buy it again and recommend it to my other clients

Notice a big difference in how warm the room was with just the panels down, was not expecting that big of a difference. Better R value than other products I've used. Would certainly recommend to friends and customers. Being able to install laminate directly over top is a benefit.

It went down very easily and provided the thermal and moisture barrier that we were looking for. The packaging and instructions were simple. The product is lightweight and easily cut with a utility knife. Once the seams were taped, the product functioned like one big piece. I will definitely use this product again.

We found it easy enough to put in; having little to no issues with the process. We have noticed a difference with the temperature of the floor in the basement bedroom, where this product was put. It also helped make the floor smoother for installing of the flooring on top.

The product is made of some form of composite material and while i am still in the process of laying down, so far i have noticed this product is quite durable and keeps moisture and cold away. I wish this product was available when i was doing the main floor of the house, would have helped with insulation and heat loss. the cushioning of this product is also a bonus. Great product and would highly recommend to those doing larger areas. A+++ in my books.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used this to replace the floor in the basement washroom that is at my house. We have forced air going into the room but we also have a baseboard heater to take the bit off as the room never really gets to temp. I am happy to report that after using Dricore and re-installing the floor, I have not had to use the baseboard heater yet! It is extremely easy to use and to cut around obstacles such as the beam I have on the one wall. It was also very convenient to load into the vehicle as such my wife went to buy more of them for me when I ran out and she was able to easily use the minivan instead of my truck. 10 out of 10 for me on this one folks.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’ve used a number of subfloor systems and these are a simple, warm, wood-free option. Installation is as easy as your floor is prepped, like any subfloor. Cost is high but when you consider you’re gaining insulation at the same time it makes it a decent value. The main drawback with this system is that it is 1” thick so may not be the best option for a low ceiling basement application where you’re fighting for every inch of height.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We used these ridgid insulation panels over my basement floor. Installed over top or concrete slab. Also installed laminate flooring on top. It created a excellent moisture barrier, as well as insulation. My basement floor is now very warm and comfortable on the feet. Great improvement. And I'm sure it will cut down on heating costs as well. Great product easy to install.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Currently doing a basement rental suite and placed this product in both the kitchen and bathroom as they are potentially wet areas. The fact there is no wood is piece of mind knowing there will be no mild or mildew . Installation was simple and straightforward. Now most people will cut this product with either a knife or handsaw to keep the little pieces of insulation from going everywhere but I used a power saw and it worked great. The tongue and groove joints fit together nicely and the fact I didn’t need to tape the joints with tuck tape made it even easier. We still left a gap between the wall and these tiles to fill with spray foam to give a thermal break . Will be doing the rest of the flooring in the basement using this product as the size of the panels make installation easy.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is so simple but so smart. Its is incredibly easy to install just slide together. It has bumps on the bottom side , this will allow air to flow under it and it think add more to the insulation too. So no mold or moisture can build underneath. It is insulation also so nice on your feet. It is very durable obviously no idea how it will last over 10 years. So far very happy with this product.

I've installed the wood Dricore subfloor many times before but first time installing the Insul-Armor in the basement which is much easier to lay down. It is very easy to cut and tap the tongue and groove together. The Insul-Armor is very durable and feels warm on the feet and with 80 sq. ft. per box it doesn't take long to get an area completed. Excellent price per square foot!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As a contractor, I have installed most brands of subfloor. Insul-Armour is superior IMHO. Most subfloors, like Dricore's regular and R+ come in 2 ft x 2 ft pieces. I like the larger size of the Insul-Armour as it means less seams to allow moisture or movement. The tongue and groove is common to all the ones I have used. Insul-Armour is easier to cut as you only need a sharp utility knife, or you can use a jigsaw if you choose. These are lighter and seem to be as durable once covered with flooring. These are also lower cost per square foot. I wish these came in a 4 ft x 8 ft sheet. I prefer to tape the joints with sheathing tape to ensure moisture stays underneath and larger sheets would mean less joints. As with all of these types of subflooring, your slab must be fairly flat and even. Spacers can be used as per instructions, but proper leveling of the slab is a better option if you have the ability.

So far installing this product is very simple. Not sure if I should be taping the seams. But the product is well manufactured.

Great product!! It really is great product seriously great product, not sure why I have to put 50 characters in to announce how great it is but it truly is great!

I totally recommend this product. It is the best ive used. I cant see why sbybody finishing a basement would not use this product.
