It went on very easy and dried quickly. Cover was excellent and put nice finish on my cellar floor. You should try to ventilate the areas you are using this product as it does create a strong odor. I'm going to use it on my garage floor next.

Really disappointed. After a month or more of drying time, the gargage floor is still tacky and the room still smells of paint. Moreover, it's peeling here and there in spots. I painted over an old concrete floor that had paint in some parts and bare concrete in others. I scraped the floor with a wire brush beforehand, and washed and cleaned it thoroughly. The product is prominently advertised on Home Depot's site as suitable for use on previously painted surfaces, and in the product description itself on the can it says "use on new or previously painted surfaces." When I called the Drylock company to complain about some blistering and peeling paint, we were told in no uncertain terms by them that the instructions clearly say NOT to use this paint on a previously painted surface. This paint wasn't cheap, and the company wasn't helpful. And now I'm stuck with a garage floor that may have to be stripped entirely and done over. That's a huge job which I don't want to tackle. At the very least, I want my money back. All in all, I wish I'd never painted the floor to begin with.

Paint went on easily and covered good. Think I'll get my 2 car garage done with just one gallon. Since I just put it down, I cannot vouch for the durability. Will let you know in a few years!

Laundry room paint
Painted the laundry room floor a couple weeks ago. Peeled up stick on tiles and didn't do any prep to the concrete and this paint went on perfectly and i put about 5 coats of paint on a 200 sq ft area, one coat every night. After the final coat, it dried for 5 days before moving the washer and dryer back in place. They have not left feet indention marks in the paint. The washer even walked a few feet after moving it back in place and it didn't leave any marks in the paint. Fantastic paint and love the color.

Great job
After much debate I decided on this product for an old concrete floor and it did an excellent job. I just wish I didn't have to order online.

I put this down on a new (fully cured) concrete garage floor. The floor was swept with an aggressive commercial broom, vacuumed, then damp mopped to remove any residual concrete dust. I didn't see a need to acid etch because the floor looked rough with no smooth spots. First coat was done thinned as directed, and put down with a brush- second coat was rolled. It has only been down for a few weeks so I can't give any longevity estimate, but right now it looks great and I can drag boxes etc without scratching the surface. So far no car tire problem. Good product-reasonable price- I would use it again if needed.

painted garage floor.
fantastic product only gave it a 4 because it did not go as far as advertised. I think it would have covered better on wood. However excellent product not slick when wet looks great and cleans up well. I would use it again.

Absolutely great product!!
I have used Drylock (formerly UGL) products for years. I am a licensed painting contractor in good standing for almost 25 years. I always research any new products I use. I start by reading the label and all fine print on it. I talk to the people who sell it to get there feedback. I call the manufacturer and ask questions.
I can tell you this is a great product. It is easy to apply, durable, and looks great. As with any painting if you don't follow directions on the label or you cut corners on your prep work you will not have good results. You must wait 5 days in optimal drying and curing conditions then you can park cars on it and it won't lift if your prep work was good. It's best to start with clean concrete that has been mechanically etched. If you use an acid etching product then it must be completely neutralized and surface dried before applying paint. If you paint over old paint what's on top is only as good as what's underneath. This product does not work as claimed if you use a primer under it. Drylock makes a concrete primer called Concrete Protector. It is used to hold back efflorescense. (white powdery substance). If you prime then you can't put rubber tires on it. It's all about the chemistry. It's a simple one part concrete paint that has a fair price and is easy to use. Don't cut corners on your prep and follow label directions for application. You will see great results

Durable Paint
It goes on smooth and even I used one roller and it took all of 20 minutes for me to roll a 20x25 concrete slab for my shed. Very satisfied with this product and will definitely use again.

Letex Drylok Concrete Floor Paint
Love the product but it did not hold up as indicated, even with proper floor priming as per instructions. Even 72 hours after 2nd coat dried scratch/scrap marks showed through to concrete. Even sliding a plastic contain that was not heavy. I had to touch up about 10 places once everything was back in place. I feel sure the first time I drop a tool it WILL take up the paint. However, I would still recommend it.

garage floor finished with drylock floor finish
started peeling when cars were brought into the garage, even after 3 days dry time. i have not had this problem with other manufacturer floor finishes. company offered product replacement, but removing the finish cost twice as much as the original cost. no help there. would not recommend for homeowner.

The best concretye floor paint
I have painted several basement floors with this product. While it is difficult to find and expensive, it applies easily and wears like iron.
