I had used this product 10-15 years before to paint my basement floor. I needed to repaint part of the floor due to wear. I had a can of the Gull paint that had gone bad, so I replaced it to paint the floor. Unfortunately the color was much darker than anticipated. Fortunately Dover may be an alternative. I will order a can and hopefully HD will take the Gull back.

The texture is grainy and not stain proof. It should be sealed with the company's product. Didnt know this when we bought it. Our project was extended by a week.

I really like this for the basement. I have used it many times. I wished they had it in stores because it takes a couple times when you ship it because the container leaks. Otherwise it excellent.

Tires will peel this paint off.Bought two gallons of this paint, followed all the instructions ( the floors were etched, rinsed and dried properly, the weather was dry and warm ) paint went on very easily and it looked beautiful until I parked my car in the carport 10 days after applying.

Working so far let’s see what happens when summer is here and tires are hot.

It should have been in bold print to prep previous painted concrete with merati acid. As a result condensate from AC from gathers on the surface until it eventually evaporates. Can’t wait for winter salt. Took a long time for paint to completely dry. 2 weeks

Application went well. We'll see how durable it is over time.

It bubbled-up in some spots in my basement floor. Not sure if it’s due to high humidity. Cut out those spots, sanded & repainted them. Otherwise paint looks good

Wonderful paint. Happy I chose Drylock over the epoxy. Best decision I made for this project. I got 400 sq feet per gallon. Did 3 coats and let I dry 3 days. Floor is absolutely perfect!

Went down real easy as directed on basement floor that had been shot blasted. Make sure ventilation is good. Very pleased with look. Time will tell with how it wears.

Look good went on easy no strong paint odor. One coat covered look good second coat looks great, after 48 hours it still Scratched when placed heavy items on it. I used it on basement floor. I would not use on a garage floor. Drys quick.

The paint has not been down for long, but looks good so far. I am surprised that even though I gave it more than the recommended dry time, in some places it has come up a little. Where the garage door comes down on the painted floor, the paint has peeled a little. Also, the stated coverage is off, by a lot. Our 2&1/2 car garage should have only required 3 gallons according to the label, but actually took 5. Almost 4 of that was for the first coat. It did clean up the garage area nicely. I hope it lasts.

This Drylok 1gal. Gull Latex Concrete Floor Paint works really well on my basement floor. I’m really pleased with the results.

Goes on easily. Problems with parts of the floor even though cleaned, with the product adhering to it.
