We like the hardware; except the hotwater "H" and cold "C" is reversed. Our hot water is on the right but your hardware is labeled on the left.

POOR DESIGN ,SCREWS DONT FIT

I replaced my chrome original with the brush nickel. The brush nickel cover plate is thinner than originally chrome plate. Everything fit well. No problems.
This was for the series 1400.

Easy Update
We had a new home and wanted to update the finish from the chrome the builder provided. We purchased the new trim kit and it was an easy 5 minute installation and looks great. Super easy upgrade!

Valve not included - not?
Could the notation be more confusing? I don't think so. When Home Depot/Delta say "valve not included" they mean "rough-in kit not included." The rough in kit IS NOT A VALVE. Unless you install a rough in kit with "stoppers" (which actually are little valves), turning on the water with just the rough-in kit installed will spray water everywhere. The trim kit INCLUDES THE MAIN VALVE. They don't call it that, they call it a "cartridge," but it performs the main valve function. Ugh!!!

Classy look. Changed the look of my tub for sure. I replaced 20yr old faucet and trim plate. Looks great and highly recommend those products for changing the look of your tub. Price point is good and very easy to swap out.

This trim kit worked perfectly with my 15 year old...
This trim kit worked perfectly with my 15 year old delta valve. We changed our old fixtures from nickel to chrome and this is perfect. Also a very easy install.

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing! It is normal for water will drip out for a couple of minutes after use due to residual water. If it is longer than a minute or two, please soak the shower head in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for a couple of hours. This will loosen any buildup or debris that is stuck in the nubbins of the showerhead.

This is not a complex item to install. Very easy to install however, the set/Allen screw for the handle may be seized. So you may have to drill it out. Looks exactly like the item it’s replacing except it’s new. Besides that I am pleased with this product and would recommend it

Not Delta Qualty
one year in and plastic valve cartridge failed. Went to local plumbing shop as where we are there is no HD. They said its not a Delta and they could not identify it. Junk. A budget brand or Delta labeled cheap knockoff. I have to figure out how to take the wall apart to get something supported locally.
