The freezer arrived with an electrical problem. Frigidaire agreed to exchange it. 3 subsequent freezers arrived damaged due to being poorly packed in the truck. No evening before calls to confirm a delivery window. And delivery delayed on 4th try with no call to let me know.

FREEZER
I bought the 14.8 cu. ft. FRIGIDAIRE CHEST FREEZER DOOR KEY MODEL # FFCL1542AW. The delivery guys did not put the wheels on and they did not leave the key. It is a bit smaller then my other 14 foot freezer and does not come with dividers.

Awful experience so far..New Freezer
I would live to LOVE my new freezer if it froze food. This was just deliverd in Friday July 5, 2024. It was plugged in and set up on Sat July 6, 2024. It will get cool but not freeze. I called Monday am (July 8, 2024 and set up a service appointment for Friday July 12, 2024). The service company doesn't service my area so back to Frigidaire I go and now can't get an appointment until July 16, 2024

It works great so far. No complaints. Holds 50 7-lb bags of ice, which is perfect for what we needed.

Junk.
Freezer lasted two years and quit. Do not buy this freezer because it is so long, the lid is warped in the center and it won’t close properly. Junk

It is not as deep as the freezer I had easier to find things. It did not come with any dividers. I used my old ones and that limited the use of my baskets.

For the price and the size I find it excellent. Still not stocked up yet. We’ll see how frosted it gets cause it’s not frost free. If your looking for a huge freezer, then this is by far worth it!

Worst purchase ever!
I purchased this freezer for my business. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that this product freezing coils are built only to half way and will only freeze to the top if lid is not opened for days. It took nearly 8 days to freeze items placed near the ceiling. I called only days after the purchase to question if it item was defected and return for something else but they said, Home Depot does not allow returns on freezers. I DO NOT recommend this product.

WARNING!!!!
This is a freezer, less than a year ago. It's a nightmare for getting in contact w/agents then wk before THEIR TECH arrived.
They have 3 business days to contact a tech then when tech shows you have to be available 8-5pm for them.
My case he determines the compressor & panel board. They have access to the compressor not board it's not available at warehouse/distributor, not sure when. NO OFFER OF A RENTAL. LOST 3 GRAND WORTH OF MEAT. IF YOU HAVE RECIEPTS FOR FOOD THEY WILL SUPPOSEDLY REIMBURSE YOU.
TECH SAID ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE HATES TO REPLACE ITEMS &THE 600 COMPRESSORS HAVE A HIGH FAILURE RATE. BE AWARE.

I bought this freezer about six weeks ago and it is awesome. It keeps everything in a deep freeze. There is a ton of room so we can stock up on all kinds of things.
