Worked great but hard to find

Worked like a charm. Was exactly what I needed to fix the wall imperfections.

These shims worked great. I had a low spot on a piece of drywall and these shims evened everything out. They worked as intended. No idea why they only got 3 stars. Maybe folks don't know how to use them. They go BEHIND the drywall and attach to the stud... just incase anyone was wondering. Just staple them to the stud, bang the staple further with a hammer, fit the drywall and adjust if necessary. So easy.

First time using these. Very easy to use and install. I just used a stapler to install. I would definitely recommend these for shimming out 1/4” or less.

They work for what we were needing

The material was flat and made out of cardboard. Really no surprises regarding their performance! Outstanding!

Does exactly what is is suppoaed to, nothing specail but gets the job done with less headaches.

I was building a shower and I needed to shim out the studs to be flush with the edge of the shower pan. Using two to four layers I was able to quickly staple them to the studs to make the walls flat. I used about half of them to do the job. Some people have criticized them for being flimsy and worry that they will fall apart when wet. If your wall leaks water to the studs you have bigger problems: like seepage and mold. They are flimsy, but they do the job for little cost.

Poor Value, unless you are a contractor who can use a LARGE quantity of drywall shims. For the DYI'er who only needs a fraction of what comes in this bundle, it's a poor value. Home Depot doesn't sell drywall shims in any other quantity other than the above large bundle.

Very useful both as a shim and for other projects. Keeps its shape and shims things at 1/8" per strip.

We were starting a small renovation that required us to replace a good amount of drywall (now whole panels). Since out house is almost 20years old, we have multiple sizes of drywall that needed to blend seamlessly. These shims made it to easy to get various pieces lined up without issues. Without these, we would have had to use A LOT of drywall compound.

1/16-in shims that do what they're supposed to do. A bit expensive.

I’m using these shims to make walls straight. I very recommend using them before installing drywall !
