Used them to even out my metal studs to the dimensions of my wooden studs. Worked perfectly!

I used these with 3 stacked, not sure how many is recommended. It seemed to work well. It was easy to cut to the needed lengths.

Kind of hard to go wrong making strips of cardboard. Kind of a low point in life that I am reviewing them but here goes....These are strips of awesomeness! These aren't just pieces of cardboard, they are my new friends!

These shims are OK. They’re a fair bit thinner than the ones I’m used to working with. They’ll get the job done, but you’ll have to use more of them than the ones the pro’s use.

did its job but they are now flimsy and require hanging from top down. They are not stiff enough to just hold up and staple any longer unless you are holding it from the top same thing happens on a horizontal install.

Unfortunately this product just crumbled when we went to use it. We ended up having to purchase elsewhere. We should have returned by there was no point when it was all falling apart.

These shims are really handy. I've used them to shim out sheetrock and laminated flooring where a level floor was difficult to attain. They can be easily stapled to a stud about four of them make up a quarter inch. They can be easily torn if a knife isn't handy. And the best thing is that they're inexpensive. I just keep a bundle on hand just in case.

What can anyone really say about drywall shims? These are >1/16" but < 1/8", I use them to straighten out framing so my backer for tile stays true to plane. It would be really nice if asshat framers would be just a little more attentive to studs they use and which way the cup turns.

They are just as good as other brands I have used

The shims solved my problem, wallboard/drywall was curved/bowed after thirty years and I needed to fill about 1/8 inch gap between some floor molding and the wall, used these shims to do it. Other alternative would have been to cut wallboard/drywall out and replace with new straight piece.
