Well worth what I paid for it.

Perfect for what we need it for. It is small enough to fit in the bottom of our closet and heavy enough the kids can't pick it up.

Safe works Great for what I wanted: To Store documents. I originally bought SureHook Pendaflex Hanging Folders to use , but found that they are too Tall ( #6152). What I found is you need to use Pendaflex (#4152) hanging folders so you can close the lid.

Product is as good as stated and provides the protection I need for important paperwork.

Met Expectations

Better than most in the price range but Honeywell left a lot on the table with dainty plastic latches. Even stamped metal latches would have been a huge improvement. Also, the key cannot be removed unless the lock is in the locked position. This is simple annoying. Overall would recommend.

Design to hold 8 1/2 x 11 document folders, this safe is easy to operate and reliable.

I ordered on line for pick up at the store. The item arrived in the estimated delivery time, and the store service was fast and courteous. The file safe is heavy, and is large enough to hold hanging files. At fist I thought it was too big, but as I started putting in important papers I realized it is the right size for us. The hanging folders and file folders are not included, although some photos show them. I used a cart to move it around, but it can be carried also.

What drew me to this product, is the latches. We've had 2 different fire safes and they've been difficult to open. This one locks securely and, when unlocked, opens very easily.

This was in our price range, so we knew it wasn’t going to be state of the art and uncrackable. The plastic clips don’t inspire much confidence, but we feel good about its fire and water protection. It’s pretty solid, fit what we needed to put in there, and easy to store.

In store pick up efficient and courteous (Halfmoon, NY Home Depot) Product is as advertised. No damage during shipment from west coast. The Honeywell Fire/Water Chest has enough interior space for a number of hanging files in addition to space for other items. Heavy, solid, secure.

It is heavy to carry and does not have a handle. Great for hanging files or larger items.

It is heavy and it was not as big as I thought -- but it works real well. I had a notebook to put in it but didn't fit -- used hanging file folders for the information and it is great.
