[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is high quality. It is very quiet. We have not utilized the Convection feature yet but I anticipate it will work great! It is a little larger than most microwaves since it is an oven too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our kitchen aid microwave. It’s tough and very durable. I love that it has multiple cooking functions. I can bake cookies, I can steam, I can microwave a quick meal. I can use the mood light at night and I have the option to turn off the turn table if needed. It’s great and so nice looking!

Do not buy. This is the worst microwave I have ever owned. I do not normally post but I am obligated to in this case. We bought this microwave early in 2020. Per the label in the door, it was made in November of 2019. By summer of 2021 the magnetron had failed...basically it ceased to microwave. At nearly half the original cost of the microwave, it was repaired. Shamefully Kitchenaid only has a 1 year warranty on this part, meanwhile the heating element for the convection function has a 5 year warranty. Like they knew the main feature wouldn't last. Now here it is July of 2022 and it has stopped microwaving again. In all my life (now 50 years) I have never had a microwave fail. They've always been tossed for wear and tear. The reason I bought this one was the one it replaced was the original from when the house was built in 1997. We decided that the tapped on handle was a bit much and decided to replace it. It wasn't pretty but at 23 years old it was still running strong. I thought KichenAid was a good brand, clearly I was mistaken.

We use it mainly for reheating items but it has so many cool features for cooking food to include being a convection oven. Only things it doesn't have that would be nice to have is a selection of different display backgrounds & light colors and a date option to go with the display clock.

I knew I wanted a KitchenAid microwave to match my KitchenAid dishwasher so I purchased this without knowing too much about it. Boy did this microwave blow me away! I had no idea this microwave was also a convection oven so I put it to the test and it definitely exceeded my expectations! I've toasted bread, baked a frozen pizza and cooked rice from scratch. This microwave has been an amazing addition to my cooking regimen and I highly recommend it!

Bigger than I thought. It’s a beauty and easy to clean. Still learning how to use the different features it offers. I especially like the convection oven as I can bake smaller dishes than using my stovetop oven. Ease of use. Everyone who has seen it in my home absolutely love how it looks and works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave a little over three months ago. So far, it’s working good. But I do have a few issues with it. When I’m cooking food, the door heats up quite a bit. I’m worried the controls (horizontally laid out toward the bottom end of the door) would get damaged because of that. I do hope not. Also I’m short, so I had to learn to open the door standing on the right of the microwave so it won’t hit my head. I also feel like the touch function for the buttons is not as sensitive as it should be. I find myself pressing hard a few times before the number entered is recognized by the microwave. As for the convection cooking option, I’ve only used it once and I wasn’t much impressed by it. I plan to use it more in future so I get comfortable using it and I may begin to like it. The rest of the features are good. It is bigger than my previous Kitchen Aid model so I had to get my handyman to remove the backsplash by an inch. In the process of installing, the paint on my cabinet got scraped off on the sides. However, the big size helps with heating larger dishes so it’s a plus. I like the steamer basket that came with it, works well. Overall it’s a good microwave and I’d recommend it.

I suppose microwaves have come along way in 12 years. I have only one issue. The exhaust fan is loud! Especially on lower fan modes. Overall a great microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super happy with my purchase. I paid for installation and removal of my old unit which was also a KitchenAid. The people who came were very nice, neat and capable. The microwave itself is very beautiful and sleek. I love having the controls on the bottom. It doesn’t seem to be as powerful as my previous unit but it’s still really high-powered. Do like the start button having a default one minute cook. The vent is also now on topside versus the face so altogether a very modern clean look.

We got this model because it can be a second oven during holidays with lots of food to prepare for our family. I love that it’s quiet. The microwave cooks softly, that’s the best way I can describe it lol! It’s so advanced from the old one we had. There was no doubt in our minds that our new appliances had to be KitchenAid. I’m very happy!

Wife and I love how this microwave looks. Our kitchen looks very modern with all theae kitchen aid appliances. The microwave works great and would recommmemd it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new microwave. It’s super quiet and the sensing function for steaming vegetables works perfectly! So far, the reheat sensing is not to our liking - it cooks way to long and hot so we use the power adjustment and just try a time such as 1 or 2 minutes. It’s also beautiful like other kitchen aid appliances. Our only wish there is that it was t quite so deep. It sticks out about 2 inches more than our prior microwave so it’s a bit massive looking. Also, although it’s quite when microwaving, it’s a bit loud on convection. We have have a kitchen aid wall oven that is super quiet on convection so we typically choose to use that for convect cooking. But it’s still nice to have the convect option.

No more microwave cooking in our new home! Now we have a range top, convection oven, convection/microwave, dishwasher and to round out the kitchen a trash compactor. Very easy to install. Looks great and adds an upscale look to the kitchen. Easy to operate with great features.

This thing does EVERYTHING. I had to wait 2 months in between getting my microwave delivered and my stove and it didn’t matter. I had this microwave baking, steaming, roasting, thawing. All the fun stuff. My new kitchen is beautiful; was a fun quarantine project for my dad and me (we make a great team). Couldn't be more happier with the KitchenAid appliances. They work sleek and now I'm all about this stainless steel business — easy to clean and very posh!
