[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of this microwave. Door is substantial, solid and unlike some others on the market, feels like it was built to last. We bought the gas range that and the fan works great to exhaust with it's 6 speeds and auto sense if you forget to turn it on. The convection we have only used once to make a pizza and it turned out perfect. Not sure it saves much time over cooking in oven but your not getting all that heat.

I have had this microwave for 1 month now and really like it. The convection oven is a great way to quickly cook or reheat leftovers without having to use your big oven. The microwave reheats leftovers very evenly, there are no cold/hot spots. The only complaint I have is regarding the vent. It seems to lack power compared to the old KitchenAid it replaced. I am going to call Home Depot and see if this can be looked at.

We did our homework over multiple places and multiple brands, every single time we ended up back at kitchenaid, glad we did.

We really like this microwave. It has a lot of nice features like the convection as well as microwave. We are still learning about all the features but so far we like them very much. It is bigger than the other microwave we had but still fits in the same space.

We bought one for our house in CT last year, and it worked so well we bought one for our house in AZ this year, when our 10 year old KitchenAid microwave finally went. Also, it's much quieter than our old microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most microwaves feel rickety. Not this one. It feels substantial. Like opening the door of a really good car. It heats more evenly than my last microwave, and quicker. Not sure why I got this with the convection feature, maybe because it was the right size to fit my space. It matches my KitchenAid double ovens. It's quiet and it's pretty. There is no 30 second button, but just hit start and it is an automatic 1 minute. And really, how hard is it to push "30 start" if you want 30 seconds. At 1st, I thought it would be a problem, but it really isn't. LOVE the handles on these KitchenAid products. No fingerprints! It's so easy to clean. However, the inside of this microwave is shiny and a little more effort to clean and shine up. Still, I like this microwave more than any I've ever had.

This microwave looks great in the kitchen. Pretty big and just fits right. Havent tried the convection but maybe one day. Microwave is all that is needed but the convection may come on handy someday. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only had this about a month. Got it to match with a new Kitchenaid slide in range. Love the styling and the touch controls along the bottom edge of the door. It is convection cooking capable but it does not convection cook like an oven. The microwave is also involved so you can only use microwave safe dishes. No metal. This does not seem to be an issue so far. 6 speed recirculating fan is great, lighting for cook top is very bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] May be silly that my favorite part about this microwave is that it is so quiet. We replaced a GE Profile microwave, though the Ge was a little more powerful, you couldn’t carry on a conversation while it ran!

Word of caution before ordering, make sure you have studs where your former range hood goes before considering this one. Once you've had one of these you don't want to live without one. Sold my house to move across country and this was the first upgrade to my house I insisted on. We had to lift our cabinet higher in order for this not to practically sit on the stove (it's large, see specifications and measure ahead of time), it might not be an option for low lying cabinetry and ceilings without converting to a shorter cabinet. Luckily my house has high ceilings so that wasn't an issue. Some of the bolts actually bent on us during assembly which slowed down our install considerably and had us worried, no extra parts were included. I had the Whirlpool (same manufacturer parts guessing sister companies) version of this before and loved it, just like it but without the recirculating option. Downside, this does not come with the crisper pan advertised. Which both the bolts and the lack of accessories I discounted a star. You can, however, order it for another fifty bucks on amazon. I was disappointed about it but will spring for it shortly. You can do so much more with these microwaves and be able to walk away from cooking to multi task. Just can't live without one once you've had one. Have a pro install if you have a bad back, they are pretty heavy and awkward.

Although I have not used all of its features, I'm very pleased with it. I did not purchase the store warranty, after all its KitchenAid and I paid a grip for it, so I'm praying for a lengthy relationship, I'm in love with it (LOL) and it looks good in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice microwave. Has a lot of features I haven’t even begun to learn how to use. The drawback is the fingerprints. Every time a button is pressed it leaves a mark on the screen. I’ve even resorted to using my knuckle to avoid cleaning it again but it doesn’t be work as well. Also, when cleaning the buttons or front of the microwave, you can lock the buttons so it won’t start cooking but beeping still occurs and the fan still turns on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have microwaved and baked in the oven and it works great. It's easy to clean as well. I LOVE the feature of having the down light on a timer. I set mine to come on at 8 and off at 11 so it provides a little light when I come into the kitchen. The only flaw is the metal handle. Since it is designed to be placed over the stove, the handle should be made of something that doesn't conduct heat. I nearly burned myself the first time I used the microwave and the burner under it. Now that I know, I am careful but it should have a silicone cover.

I steamed salmon and again when it said it was done -perfect. It’s beautiful and easy to keep it that way. I never imagined I’d love it as much as I do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the convection microwave for 2 weeks. This is really a high tech machine. Trying to figure out how all the functions work is mind blowing. But, we've used the regular function of it and so far so good. I attempted to use the convection to heat a MOD Pizza I picked up on the way home. I was sad to see that there was no Pizza Function so I had to scroll through and use a function I thought would heat as evenly as a pizza would. I didnt find what I thought was comparable so, I just used the regular heating function. One thing I'm excited to use the convection for is baking cookies. I think I can use a metal cookie sheet on the Convection cycle ONLY while baking the cookies. If so, this would be awesome. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I must say that it looks absolutely beautiful above my range.
