I just bought this unit with low expectations since I live in Florida. I decided to go mini splits over conventional so I can control costs. It was a good choice. Easy to install. Wall bracket should be built to adapt to standard 16 on center wall framing.

The DIY install was very clear. The unit is so quiet I can not hear it running. In cooling mode it draws 700 watts at first then slows down to under 300 watts to maintain temperature.

So far I like everything about this unit, exceptional performance cooling, and was really impressed with how quiet it is.

The unit is installed and working well. I absolutely recommend that you purchase or rent an appropriate torque wrench to install your unit. If you mess up tightening the line set, you risk losing your refrigerant, and then hiring a reluctant HVAC man to braze new lines and fill your system. This is rightfully meant to scare you. You can DIY, but use proper tools.

Installation was straightforward. Works great. To soon to see what operating costs are or durability and longevity.

Relatively simple install, works great.

We purchased the 12k for our garage/workshop. We were impressed with the quality from the minute we started removing parts from the boxes. The entire install took a day and a half and does require some lifting but the instructions were so easy to follow along with install videos online made this a breeze for my wife and me. By the way, we are in our 60's. We are very happy and would highly recommend this unit.

I installed this thing about a month ago. It worked fine until today when I woke up to my breaker being tripped. When I tried to turn it back on, it immediately trips again. There's a short somewhere inside of the outdoor unit and its completely unusable. I checked the wiring to the unit and there's no issues. Stay away. This thing is trash.

Is exactly as advertised, easy to install

The Mr Cool 12K BTU was truly DIY. It was an easy install. It has worked great so far. (I have only had it installed for 2 weeks) It is super quiet and has done a way better job than the window unit it replaced.

Haven’t received everything.

The Mrcool 24k took me about 4days to install. 4 hours per day. I also used 2- 12ft line guard covers. It works so much better then a window unit. Very quite. I probably will install another one.

It's 117 here today in Southern Nevada and my Mr Cool mini-split has me comfortable in a small but poorly insulated outbuilding. It can get down to the low 20s here in Winter and Mr Cool has handled that wonderfully as well. I've had it 3 years now, and if I ever need to I will absolutely buy a Mr Cool again.

Everything went smooth as silk. No complaints, the unit performs as advertised, and it's Quiet!
