I absolutely love this gas dryer! Had to replace a 45 year old Whirlpool dryer. Wanted a dryer to match my Maytag Centennial washer that is 10 years old and working great! I like the large door opening! Makes it easier to put clothes in and take them out. Dries quickly and clothes come out dry and soft with no wrinkles. Very quiet machine. Easy to hook up and operate. The only compliant I have is the door was hard to open and close, but my husband sprayed a Teflon coating on the metal piece and now it’s not an issue. Would highly recommend this dryer. Good buy for the money! I would recommend using the leveling parts even if your floor is level. Also, I like that the lint vent is on top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and like the dryer but every time I open the door to take the clothes out they fall out all over the floor because of the way the door swings open. My other dryer you could pull the door open from the middle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought different brand on washers and Dryers and in the past , but when I bought my first Maytag appliance it was the best choice I made in my life . These Maytag are Heavy duty and last for ever .They also have great feature really easy to operate you won’t be disappointed !

I have had this dryer now for about a month, and I do about 8 to 9 loads a week. Overall I think this is a great dryer, I have never had issues with items coming out damp as long as you are not ridiculous in overloading it. Seems like my average load takes about 40 to 45 minutes to dry. I would have given it five stars if the top mounted lint trap doesn't scatter lint all over the place when you pull it out to empty it.

Most items don't break down in the first 6 months. Please ask me again in another six months. I do like the size capacity and minimal features, as I didn't want anything too " digital", more things to go wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dryer was installed in May 2023. I love how it dries clothes. But I am unhappy that the dryer knob is so hard to turn to the various settings. I was told that this is how the knob is and that it will take time to loosen up. But after five months, it still has not gotten any easier to turn.

Very disappointed in the quality of all appliances, they are made so cheaply and then we landfill them. Where is the Net zero footprint??? We need to get back to providing quality instead of quantity.

Kind of miss the use of the total top; but it is very easy now to clean the lint out and to remember to do it each time.

I used it today and there is a terrible knocking sound!! It’s only 4 months old!! Trying to make a claim for service. My previous dryer was 14 years old before I had one issue with it. It was not a Maytag. I’m so discouraged.
