[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and am already having problems. In "sensor dry" the dial will not move at all, it just sits there running for hours. It used to work the first week but became progressively worse until now no setting in that "sensor dry" range will shut off on it's own. Disappointing, since the machine was working great. I am waiting on Maytag to get back to me on a repair. Apparently this is a common problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were really excited to have this new dryer. The first month or so it worked great. Then about 2-3 months in it started making this loud screeching sound. It keeps getting louder and louder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought Maytag appliances my whole life so I know the quality that use to be there. This unit does not have the fit and finish of the appliances I have previously owned. Nameplates are affixed crooked, the metal is thin, and the hinges and latches are seem cheeply made. As far as how the unit works, it could sense the dryness a little better. Even on the driest setting the clothes still seem to be a bit damp. Other than that, everything else seems to work well so far.

It runs beautifully. All gas. Except the one feature that is on the selection dial does not work??? Wrinkle control. Unsure if I’m operating it properly? If I am not, please let me know how this works.? Seems pretty straight forward. Please advise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a reasonably priced gas dryer with practical features. The dryer works well and the mechanical controls are easy to use, just like the old dryer. Installation was straight forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dryer! It dries a lot quicker than the old one, which took forever, especially towels and sheets. This one is larger inside but doesn’t take up any more room than the old one did. The old one was a Maytag as well and lasted 30 years. I’ll never buy any other brand.
