This saw is a beast! I was apprehensive about buying a battery powered mitre saw. I’ve used it for multiple jobs including building a composite deck. We used the saw all day making hundreds of cuts of pressure treated wood and composite deck material. It powered through everything with no problem and still had 1 bar of battery power at the end of the day. It’s definitely worth the money just make sure you spring for the 12AH battery.

I have been converting all my tools to the Milwaukee Brand. I believe they are a solid purchase for any contractor and Milwaukee has invested a ton of time and money into their M 18 and M 12 line of tools. The Milwaukee 10" FUEL miter saw has exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love this tool. This saw is lightweight, accurate and constructed with sturdy and durable materials. I would purchase this saw again and would highly recommend this saw to a friend. Thank you Milwaukee.

Have had for about 1 month now. The saw is good, but the sliding lock is made out of cheap plastic and broke on the first use. Luckily, there is a secondary screw lock.

It's a good tool for any work side very nice and useful for all angles

Prior to purchasing the M18 7 1/4 inch miter saw, I exclusively used my DeWalt DWS 779 12” saw. Don’t get me wrong that miter saw is great, but it is extremely heavy (56lbs) and cumbersome to transport to the job site. The M18 7 1/4 miter saw (28lbs) is the perfect solution for when you need to bring the saw to the site. Out of the box no adjustments were needed. Shadow line always appreciated. The cutting capacity of ~7 1/4” is more than adequate for 99% of my usual jobs (flooring, trim, etc).

So iv had this saw for almost two months now. I must admit I have very little to complain about. If you are looking for a nice cordless saw for doing things like base/trim work around the house or the jobsite I highly recommend this saw. It has more than impressed me with the battery life, even on a 5.0. The shadow line is a very nice touch vs a laser that normally ends up damaged like on some of my larger saws. Most importantly it makes accurate cuts. If I am going to make any complaint at all- it is the quality of the zipper/dust collection bag as others have mentioned, as I run mine typically on a shopvac this doesnt bother me to much, but should be noted if you are looking for a “dustless” saw. As this is my first battery powered miter saw and I was skeptical I must say I am impressed. Great job Milwaukee. Overall I am going to give this saw 5 stars, it does what it needs to do!

I was always hesitant to get a battery powered miter saw. I thought it would be sub par to a corded one. I was wrong! I currently have about 250 cuts on the 1st battery charge snd still going strong. With the sliding saw I get longer cuts than I can get with my 12" (non-sliding) miter saw.

Great saw I’ve used for many different applications and the only problem I’ve had with it so far is a piece of the fixed fence broke off when barely tightening the fence, other than that I’ve still been using it with just the one side of the fence no problem hoping to track down a replacement fixed fence so it can be back to its glory

Love the saw, everything up until - of all things - the dust collection bag fails. Seriously? Who builds anything with a zipper that doesn't self-heal? YKK has been making them for decades, and maybe it would have cost a dollar more to buy a zipper that actually works. Sorry to rant, but I am a homeowner who bought the tool more as a novelty rather than than to overuse it. And having to replace the whole collector assembly for the sake of a crappy zipper just adds insult.

Just bought the combo kit. 1) Stand isnt square to the mounting brackets; 2) the extension ends are loose; and, 3) the adjusting extension brackets do not attach to the ends in a way that makes sense or is remoteky safe to have material resting on them. Unsafe!!

Is easy to use and really utility a like el light is super easy to find the exactly point

I like this miter saw I was looking for 10” double bevel with Dewalt but couldn’t found it so I decided go with Milwaukee

This saw is a cut above the rest. I love the brake on the blade and the light shows exactly where the cut is. Great purchase.

I am beyond impressed with this saw.(milwaukee 10" dual bevel miter saw) I still feel a corded saw might have a tiny bit more power but it's so little of a difference the average person wouldn't notice. All in all great job to milwaukee

Good so far but needs a slide lock latch, minor injury to my thumb when I lifted it off the stand and slide lock screw wasn't enough to hold, safety issue

Purchased this to do some remote projects and also really liked how compact the body is compared to the new mitre saws. 1 battery last me all day just cutting fence boards. I’m really happy to add this tool

Absolutely amazing! Cuts anything I need it to with no problems and the light above the blade is way better then any laser to quick adjust your cut

Out of service for the second time. Do not buy this. It’s a lemon but Milwaukee is not interested in replacing it.

Super happy with my miter-saw. Easy setup, very high quality… another quality Milwaukee product.

If I would be able to leave less than a one star review I would but unfortunately I can't, I have bought 4 saws in the last year and they break on me between 3 to 4 months. The last one that I have which is the 4th one broke on me today (4/28/2022) and I got it January 14th. I was using it to cut a end molding And the saw started smoking and died on me. I even got a video of it smoking like a diesel truck. for what it's worth I'd expect it to be better than ryobi but it definitely is worse then ryobi. seriously milwaukee you are unbelievable. if your reading this then save your money and get a different saw

I was worried because I purchased the saw before reading reviews about problems with being out of square, but I haven't encountered any. To me, the saw is a perfect balance between its 12 and 7 1/4" counterparts, has good power and does everything it should do with a minimum of effort. I'm still not in love with the miter stand but that's a review for another day!

I bought this saw for the smaller field work that I do on the job. It came down to a few different brands when I was deciding on a 7-1/4 sliding miter saw. Some options I am already in the platform and some I was not. I ended up choosing the Milwaukee because I already had batteries and chargers as well as the Milwaukee warranty. I'm very pleased with this saw so far due to it's small footprint and lighter body. I know that it lacks some features that other 7-1/4 miter saws had but I feel I chose well since I can use a different saw for bigger cuts and trenching.

great little light saw. much easier to drag around than a 12". made a zero gap insert for it so I am sure it will be even better than the sloppy plastic one it comes with.

Smooth, straight cuts, easy to adjust, and great battery life. I've been cutting aluminum lighting channel with the lens and I'm achieving factory finish quality cuts making for tight fitting corners.

Bought this brand new through homedepot during the buy more save more event. Upon opening the box I notice some damage to the saw already. This is minor cosmetic damages that does not affect the performance, however it DOES raise a concern on the quality of the saw itself. I'm a huge milwaukee tool fan. Have over $10,000 invest in their tools and batteries for my home garage alone. And this has alter my perspective and confidence in the line. Overall for the price I got the saw for I cant complain, but i can not in good faith recommend Milwaukee tools if i continue to see this level of "quality."

Great saw!

I use this saw daily so it has to be portable and powerful. I upgraded from an 7 1/4 single bevel saw to this one. This saw is easy to handle and carry. So much more saw than an 7.25" saw for just a few bucks more. I'm so glad I made it part of my inventory. Will definitely run for days using an 8ah doing flooring and base even blowing the cut area of with the battery at the end of the day. The 6ah works great with this tool too.Milwaukee nailed it again.
