I bought this fire pit a month ago and so glad I did! Down in Miami it doesn't get cold but when it does we can use the fire pit and if not we can use it as an outdoor coffee table to entertain guests. Great buy!

The Pleasant Hearth firepit is perfect for those who like to sit quietly by a fire or entertain. It is strong and heavy enough to stay in one spot yet light and portable enough to take camping to have a table, fire or Bar B Que! Absolutely perfect beautiful firepit!

I agree with most of the reviews I read prior to purchase. This thing is very cheaply made -- absurdly so. But it looks really good and so far it holds fire, so I am satisfied.

My wife bought this fire pit without asking me. Some of the other reviews are dead on. The support legs are incredibly flimsy. If you plan on moving this around a lot, you will bend the legs and it is a 2 person job. If you are going to put it somewhere and leave it, I think it is more functional. The tiles are not glued well. Several have come off since we put it together. I've reglued them but the bumby appearance is not to my liking. Some stick up at the worst places - just where you want to set a drink down. The fire put itself needs to be another 4 inches deeper. This is too shallow. You cannot build a large fire in it but it is great for a couple hour fire. The grill accessory that comes with it is a bonus. I looks pretty in the pictures but it is not all that well made. It is average at best. However, set it on a stamped concrete patio and don't move it and it could be nice and last a few years. I expect to chuck this one in no more than 2 more years or after 3 years of service.

We assembled the fire pit in relatively short order, but had a lot of difficulty lighting it with the factory spark ignition set up. That was no real big deal since a match worked just fine! The real problem is keeping it lit. You have to hold in the primer knob for up to 15 minutes at times. Its really not that much fun to sit there and baby sit a brand new item. I am taking it back and I don't expect much in return from the folks at our home depot.

looks great...was easy to put together...mine was missing the grill piece. the fire screen is not very good quality and was bent and parts of the screen were broken. The rest of the firepit looks really nice and we've enjoyed using it so far. would recommend getting a cover to go with it so it lasts longer in the elements.

Great size, sturdy, beautiful finish. Assembly is a little bit of a hassle but managable.

When the unit was received, two of the tiles were missing, did find them in the packaging, which was not a big deal as thet can be reinstalled. We have only used the unit one time but are very satisfied with it so far.Looking forward to have all our kids over for a cook out, sit around the fire and make smors.

I bought this as a gift for my father because he likes hiding outdoor gatherings and never had a very adequate fire pit. He really likes it and is very happy with it. The price was unbeatable for the product and free shipping kept it affordable! Delivery was fast and set up was easy. Great product!

Very cheaply made. Legs are very flimsy, tiles are uneven, and table top is not square. Very over priced for what you get.

This was a gift for my daughter and her family in FL. They got it early and have used it several times. It does all that it says it will and provides them with a way to enjoy the cool FL evenings.They love it.

Product arrived in good condition. Looks as good as the online photo. It was easy to assemble and works exactly as it should. The cover fits - although a little big- the draw string helps keep in place. Have used it several times already!!

This product was not in stock at our local store. Ordered the fire pit online based on pictures. Overall, the fire pit is aesthetically pleasing; however, the quality of the metal framework is less than expected. The legs and stamped metal parts are made from very thin gauge steel and are not durable and there not suitable for extended use. I do not recommend this and plan to purchase the next fire pit after examining it in person at a store display/showroom.

We looked at a lot of fire pits for our back yard and chose this one because it looked great and the reviews were good. We have not been disappointed one bit. It's sturdy, the tile on tip looks expensive, and the fire pit itself is great -- we can get a fire going in no time and it puts out plenty of heat. Very happy with this purchase -- we ordered it online and had it shipped to our local store for pickup. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this!

Wanted something we could move if we wanted to reuse the space. Very sophisticated and nice looking for a portable firepit. Very happy with quality and colors.

I like this firepit it was relatively easy to assemble and looks great on the deck.

We used our fire pit for the first time over the weekend and enjoyed it very much. I would have liked to see the fire bit a little deeper from the cooking grill for cooking but it's great for hot dogs and smors. I'll be moving mine when winter comes so I'd liked to have seen heavier gauge metal for the legs. I added flat washers when I mounted the legs to the attaching studs to help with stability.

This fire pit was more then I thought it would be....great height for kids...love the assortment of tops. Would recommend highly...

I have made about 5 fires now with this. Pretty nice firepit for the money. I paid $100 for it a few months ago since HD had free shipping. The unit is a little heavy. So, if you don't have much strengh you might wanna have two people move it. The mesh covering is okay, but I leave it off. My "poker stabber" unit broke after 2 fires, not sure why it did but I still use what is left of it. If you are new to fires, you can buy fire starter logs that help you get it started. If not, some newspaper and a little pieces of wood get the job done. Pretty easy to install, just follow the directions. Nothing like building a fire on a nice night!

Ordering on line was so easy and we got exactly what we wanted. Our new fire pit is a wonderful addition to our new home and it will look even better when we get our lawn furniture we ordered!

The firepit was easy to assemble, although quite a bit heavier than the specifications indicated. It must weigh at least 50 lbs., not 18. I set it up and have used it as a table and have enjoyed a fire, too. I love the look of the slate tiles and the overall size is perfect for my patio area.

this is the first fire pit that had all the things I wanted a table top inset when not burning wood, a cooking grate which could be a little bigger(will be buying a large one), and the spark screen. The only thing it needs is a cover(I bought the one for $19, which is better than I expected). the first one a bought was damaged, so check it carefully, and take your time building it. Some of the metal pieces are thin and could bend easy, but once they are bolted in place, it's is pretty sturdy

This was actually nicer than I thought it would be. We have had several fire pits that were junk. This one seems to have some quality parts to it especially the top. We used it for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed it.

Easy to put together but the top is very heavy. Looks great and can't wait to fire it up!
