I don’t have a whole lot to compare this to, but it seems to be a sturdy barrier. Smooth, thick plastic that will definitely help keep the sub floor dry in the unfortunate instances that water spills and seeps between the laminate flooring. The plastic is extremely ’slippery’ which is a plus as far as allowing the flooring to slide together when laying the flooring down, but that is also the slight hindrance. It is so smooth and ‘slippery’ that sometimes the flooring slides too much when you are trying to pop the pieces together. Creating and finding your ‘flow’ when laying the floor will cut that hindrance to just a small annoyance. So small that I would still use it again because of price and effectiveness.

A little expensive but nice and thick for a moisture barrier between concrete and a wood laminate floor. I wish it was 12 x 12 but I made it work. It also has a tape strip on one edge which is handy. I’d buy it again.

Good quality heavy-duty plastic for my gutter drainage problem. I tried to divert gutter rain water with rocks only, but it was a waste of time. I pulled up the rocks and put down a doubled layer of this heavy-duty liner. It has now been tested by Mother Nature, and works great. No more runoff making gullies in my gravel driveway.

Installed 3 rolls over a basement floor and under vinyl planks. The crinkling noise was so bad I tore up half the floor to remove the worst creases and attempt to iron them out with a heat gun on low setting. imagine crumbling a plastic sheet of paper.

We used this under our new flooring and it worked great! It really keeps the moisture out.

Was easy to roll out and it lays very flat. I used it underneath a vinyl plank floor. Easy to cut. The peel and stick strip didn't really stick to my concrete floor (it's meant to stick to adjoining pieces of the film itself not to the floor), but it doesn't move much once it's down. I'd use it again.

This was the first time I used this vapor barrier. I am used to installing rolls that are about 3 feet wide. This size made the installation much faster. I will be using this product again.

The product overall works good once the adhesive is applied. Although, the sticky strip that is on 1 side doesn't seem to stick very well to a concrete surface, but sufficient enough if stuck on the overlapped plastic covering.

Roberts moisture barrier is very easy to use, and the included adhesive strip works very well to attach other pieces. The size of the roll is optimal since one roll fits most average size rooms, which reduces the need for cutting. Since it is 6 mil thick, it also lays down well and doesn't move around much. This is a very economical choice for moisture barrier.

I bought this because previous reviews were good. However, I just installed it over concrete as a moisture barrier with cork on top for sound control. The product was difficult to smooth out. I began installing a solid bamboo floating floor and the crinkle sound as I walked on the first ten rows was awful. I stopped the installation, removed the remaining moisture barrier and replaced it with a different barrier on a roll.

Our floors were installed by a contractor. The best that I can tell is that the product is working as advertised.

It was easy to handle and good quality, and the price was good.

Very sturdy and thick. Easy to place and cut to keep under the flooring. It not only helps as moisture barrier, but also with the floor itself. My floor is roughly around 1.5 inches thick which makes it really cold in winter. But I already feel a difference. It's way better

I spent quite some time trying to smooth out all the wrinkles. the products is rolled and folded which created tons of wrinkles. If not perfectly flat, it sounds like you are walking on bubble wrap. I had to rip it all out after laying a full room of LVP.
