Mold EVERYWHERE
Mold is the dispenser, mold in the seal. This is the worst washer I have ever had. I have an older front loading Whirpool and not a speck of black. This grosses me out every time I open the door.

    Several issues
    I bought both washer and dryer. There is an inherent flaw with the design. The area where the detergent, bleach and softener go is moldy and it keeps coming back. I looked inside and it was disgusting. So much mold. Now the detergent holder is taking on water. I can’t figure out why. Additionally, somehow it appears as though fabric softener made its way between the panels of the door. Not sure I would recommend this project. It is just three years old.

      Change Detergents To Prevent Mold
      Have loved our Washer! Had mold challenges also but changed froom Tide to Meyers Laundry Detergent - clothes are super clean and smell great!!

        Horrible. Extreme mold, impossible to get rid of
        I purchased this washing machine 3 years ago, and it has been horrible. I follow all of the cleaning instructions but it is filled with black mold. I am about to have a baby and simply do not want to wash her clothes in this washer because of the extreme mold problem. I regularly buy Afresh, wipe down the gasket and dispenser, leave the door open, etc. This product is absolutely terrible.

          Multiple problems
          The first two problems I noticed were the load and go dispenser gets diluted with water, so it never indicates the soap dispenser needs to be refilled. I had to go back to using detergent pods and they don't always dissolve properly in this front load washer. The second issue is that the soap dispenser area gets very moldy, so i have to take it out and leave the door open and washer frequently with affresh cycle to try to prevent mold. The most recent problem I noticed is when I use the affresh cycle the machine leaks, so now I am not going to be able to clean the washer like I prefer to do which will probably result in more mold problems. The gasket is not cut and clean of debris; other people have the same issue with leaks only during the affresh cleaning cycle. Also many others have commented on mold and the load and go dispenser becoming diluted. There are too many issues considering the high cost of this machine.

            Good for a home with no pets
            I have owned this washer now for about 3 years. It has washed my clothes effectively and the spin fresh cycle is nice. But when it comes to needing to clean the filter... Which you have to do often with pets in the house. It takes over an hour to disconnect the washer, remove the back panel, get on my hands and knees, reach under the washer to twist the filter sideways. clean the filter and put the whole thing back together. The one good thing is that we sweep the lint and trash that collects under the washer up about 2 times per year.

              Broke in 3 years
              Washing machine broke after 3 years - E01/F01 - repair company stated repair is as costly as replacement. :-( Worked great for 3 years but for the price was hoping to get more use out of it.

                  Very very disappointing
                  I’ve purchased Whirlpool products forever due to excellence of durability and ease of use. Unfortunately the latest Washer I purchased a year ago with the LOAD & GO feature STINKS!!!!! No matter how many ways my wife and myself have tried to get the dispenser to allow the correct amount of soap we’ve failed. It either puts too much or too little which incurs us to wash clothes multiple times, very annoying, frustrating and expensive!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!!!!!!!!

                    Mold...Mold everywhere.....
                    We just cannot keep the mold from growing no matter how much we air it out or clean it. It just keeps coming back. I thought I was the only one with this issue but after looking at reviews, I’m definitely not. There are only two of us using the washer maybe once to twice a week and we both clean it vigorously and air it out after every use. How does this happen Whirlpool? Are your products not properly tested and put through normal wear and tear?

                      Mold
                      As others have reported, this thing grows mold quickly in the dispenser drawer and drum seal. To control this, we have to completely remove the dispenser drawer and leave the door wide open in between each use. We've also had problems with the load and go system not dispensing detergent. Will try cleaning and replacing the dispenser if that doesn't work. If a new dispenser doesn't work then we'll have to call a technician to repair who knows what? Detergent flow meter?

                        POOR QUALITY
                        I bought the machine 3 years ago. The door boot is torn already. I have had Samsung before, one for 6 years and one for 10 years. Never had any issues. I was supporting a US brand when bought Wirlpool. Very disappointed. Like other viewer said, I had to constantly clean up the molds

                          Heating element failed after 18 months
                          Auto sensing feature works well to auto dry cloths. Disappointed heating element failed after 18 months which was an expensive repair.

                              Mold growing in soap tray!!
                              I have had this product for around two years ago and constantly having a. Mold issues in soap dispenser. Now the box that hold the detergent will not dispense.... beyond aggravated.... why do we pay the amount for a product that does this ..... I have tried to clean where the mold is and it is impossible to get it all out.

                                  Mold machine
                                  So I bought this from the builder I used it for a few months . My husband was not happy our clothes stunk . He thought I was leaving them in the washer too long or something. I was telling him I was doing it the same way for over 25 years ... All of sudden i notice the last tide I bought when I moved here was unopened which made me look into the dispenser .. Well there is no detergent being dispensed and the whole thing was mildewing . HORRIFIC . now I have to pour all the stuff inside the machine and there is to way to leave the dispenser out , which is a hassle to clean after we do the laundry HORRIBLE

                                    MOLD
                                    This machine was good for a year and then the soap dispenser and the drawer that holds the dispenser filled with mold. I replaced all of these parts only to find that a few moths later the same thing happened. I kept the dispenser open after each use to dry out and this still continues to happen....

                                      Just ok washer
                                      I purchased about 2 years ago and I had to get it replaced immediately because the soap dispenser for the liquid bleach kept on filling up with water. It had to be replaced as a result since they were unable to fix it. Now two years later the quick wash cycle is a minimum of 43 minutes when it used to be 25 or 26 minutes. Not sure how this happened but the normal wash cycle on the light load is 41 minutes but the quick wash is 43 minutes - go figure!

                                          Began making loud noise 1.5 years after purchase.

                                            Nice While it Lasted
                                            I bought this machine in August 2016 and it was a nice machine until about 3 weeks ago. We get E01/F09 errors along with F03. After testing and testing we thought the problem was with the pressure switch and purchased a new part, but not luck. We came to the conclusion it must be the control board. Very disappointed the machine didn't last longer. Too expensive to fix.

It is a little noisier that other washer I have owned.

                                                    Violently shakes & bounces.
                                                    I wrote a previous review but I must write another update. The washing machine violently shakes and bounces off the ground, slamming back down and has now completely turned itself around, fallen off the stand, and lurched forward so hard that it tore away from its hoses. I cannot physically stop it from shaking and slamming into the wall, I will injure myself. It tore up our wall and damaged the side of the dryer next to it. Unfortunately I now am stuck with 2 broke washing machines & still can’t do laundry. I’ve only had this washing machine for 2 days.
