What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?
Be certain your home is ready for summertime temps by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the cracks, you could be in for a headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
