What's Express Delivery?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers products and job site supplies from your store to your doorstep. Ensure your order is placed by 4 p.m. local time for delivery. Your order's eligibility depends on driver availability, item size, and local stock. Set your local store online or in The Home Depot app to check availability. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes bulk orders, custom mixed paint, and aerosols). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Be certain your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that might let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry small moving boxes?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
