Be confident your home is ready for fall cooling by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
