What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Be certain your home is ready for summertime temps by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
