Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Can I get Express Delivery through my store?

Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers products and job site supplies straight from your store to your front door. Place your order by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Eligibility depends on local stock, driver availability, and item size. Set your local store in The Home Depot app or online to check availability. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag in your cart and during checkout (excludes custom mixed paint, bulk orders, and aerosols). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Make certain your home is equipped for summer temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Do I need a generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Putting together this colorful organizer is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last.
