Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Are washing machines on sale for Father's Day at Home Depot?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get amazing deals on everything from smart home gifts and outdoor power equipment to tools and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th to June 24th, 2026, only, so shop fast.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Be certain your home is set for relentless summer heat by replacing faulty components of your home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you could be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that might let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on the Fourth of July, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a wooden go-kart! Your little builder can put together their very own go-kart craft — like the race circuit version but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy with others!

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items.
