Suprise
The second set of (short) tines just above the regular tines allows the rake to be turned over and used for smoothing out added topsoil. I wasn't sure it would be worth the extra few dollars to purchase this upgrade, but it was. The shorter tines worked better at evenly finishing the added soil.

I do believe this is a good quality rake. It is longer (taller) than the one I replaced and it is slightly heavier. It took a little adjusting to use, overall, a great quality rake.

The handle aids in comfort especially if no garden gloves...
The handle aids in comfort especially if no garden gloves are on. The from edging is helpful in smoothing out the rocks in my desert landscape.

Two rakes, one handle.
Used to have to use 2 types of rakes to spread & level dirt & wood chips. Now I just need the one. Just have to flip it over.
