[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our JennAir dishwasher, which I loved, needed replaced we opted for the Bosch 800 series. We are extremely pleased with it, it's so quiet and was easy to install. Took my husband about an hour total and we were back in business, which was perfect since it was the holidays and I couldn't function without a dishwasher lol As much as I loved my JennAir, I gotta admit I love my new Bosch just as much. The upper utensil rack is a wonderful and new feature for me. Two thumbs up!!

Since getting the dishwasher in December, I have used it EVERY day. Twice sometimes over the holidays. It is quiet and meets my cleanliness expectation which are QUITE high. I cannot recommend enough!

So much easier to unload having three racks and doesn't kill my back having the silverware on top! I can't even hear if it is running - it is SO QUIET. Wish I would have had this when the kids were growing up!

Not only do we have a new Bosch dish washer we have a Bosch washer and dryer ( we've had the washer and dryer for several years and we love them.) I do love the new Bosch dishwasher except for one thing. This new dishwasher has only one small silverware holder. I'm use to more room for my silverware . See picture attched. I feel like for the high quality of Bosch products my new dishwasher should have come with a larger silverware holder, or at least two of these small ones. Other than that one disappointment I do enjoy my Bosch dishwasher.

So far, so good. It is very quiet, which we appreciate. It is quite good at washing and drying dishes; no complaints.

This dishwasher cleans and dries very well. Zero complaints there. However it is not as quiet as I expected. People talk like these things are virtually silent. I can hear the motor and water from the other side of the room. I downloaded a decibel meter app and averaged about 49db, which is much more than the 42 it is rated for

I've had 3 others and none compare to the quality, cleans dirty dishes without pre soaked and/or rinsing, very quiet can't even tell it's running and love the red LED light that displays on floor. The ability to have the Home Connect app to make simple operation changes and love being able to check operation throughout entire cycle. Love my the Bosch dishwasher!!!

This unit was just sitting out on the floor bc someone ordered it but never picked it up. We snagged this up and replaced our old dishwasher with little effort . Once I downloaded the app, I was able to customize my cleaning preferences and remotely turn it on. When it's done, it notifies me via text. Originally I was a bit concerned about there being no heating element, but I use the sanitize setting and they come out dry every time. I will never go back to the old type of dishwashers and am telling anyone who will listen to switch! For reference, I'm 56yrs and hubby is 57, so we are by no means the younger generation.

I went from a pretty run down dishwasher that was a whirlpool or something. Did a lot of research on Bosch and they are up to standard. Very minimal rinsing needed, pans actually get cleaned. The room for silverware and dishes is phenomenal!

Used twice. Error code for faulty heating. Wait time on the 800 number is 45 minutes. Online service scheduler doesn’t work: shows no categories to identify the problem so will not proceed to the next step. Regret buying it and will never buy their products again.

This dishwasher is built like a tank. Everything operates smoothly. It is heavy too. It weighs in at 100 lbs vs the previous one about 65 lbs. It is incredibly quiet and you will not hear it running. So quiet, I thought it was broke when I powered it up. The previous model, GE Adora from 2020, failed after 2 weeks and it never stopped failing. Based on our experience thus far, I wouldn't look at or even consider another dishwasher from any other manufacturer.

We couldn't be happier! I could barely tell the dishwasher was on and the dishes came out spotless. I would never purchase any other dishwasher.

Dishwasher is replacing a twenty year old unit from another manufacturer. While that loyal appliance was still doing its job entirely satisfactorily, we felt it was time to refresh the kitchen. Our expectations are high for this multi feature unit's professional and durability. More to follow :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After YEARS of tears, frustration, and way too much money spent on repair bills to try and get our family's dishes cleaned in my previous dishwasher that had the word "Kitchen" in it, I had had enough! I was exhausted from washing and rewashing dishes. To my embarrassment, guests knew they had to feel inside cups and glasses to see if there was grit or grime. In Consumer Reports, Bosch emerged as the clear winner! As soon as my Bosch was delivered, I couldn't wait to wash my first load of dishes. Did I really not need to rinse and scrub my dishes first? Loading the dishwasher was pure joy. The racks were nicely laid out. Amazing top utensil rack! After adding rinse aid and detergent, I set my preferences and closed the door. The dishwasher was so quiet that I wondered if it was even running. Seeing the red triangle on the floor reaffirmed that it was fine. Opening the door after the load was complete, I took a deep breath. The moment I started feeling the dishes, I felt my jaw drop open. I was amazed at how clear and shiny the glasses were. Grit-free! Everything was spotless. As I shrieked in delight, everyone rushed in. Come look at it, I told everyone. Even my teenagers were taken aback by the shine and sparkle of the dishes. The dishes had never looked this clean before, they said. Having owned my Bosch dishwasher for two months now, I am still amazed at how well it cleans. This is every time I open that door at the end of the cycle. Thank you Bosch for making one chore that I and my children don't particularly enjoy much more enjoyable. I would like to thank you for making such a high-quality kitchen product.

Needing to replace our dishwasher and being torn between just another basic dishwasher and splurging on something better. We decided to splurge a little and were still not sure whether we should go with the Bosch 300 or 800 Series. After some deliberation, we chose the Bosch 800 Series (Model: SHP78CM5N) and we are extremely happy with our choice. After its first use, we immediately noticed just how lacking our previous dishwasher was. Dishes are noticeably cleaner and completely dry every time.

Please do not have Home Depot to install appliances. They skipped steps while not being thorough and now my dishwasher needs a Bosch tech to come fix error code due to improper installation. For average homeowner that is not familiar with how things are put together will think it’s great but for someone that knows or in the field will see that they did a poor job that’s quick so they can get off early is simply not ok in our standard. (Dishwasher not leveled, air gap installation incorrectly)

With all the new features and upgrades, the 800 series machine really increases the performance and versatility. And the machine is so quiet you can't hear anything until it drains or you check the red light on the floor! Excellent upgrade, Bosch!

I installed the Bosch unit myself and compared to other dishwashers this is easy to install. My only complaints is the metal over the door is thin/cheap and easy to dent or bend, and the tablet/drying agent refills/release are made cheaply. Overall it’s easy to install, operates quietly, seems to work well, the home connect app is more gimmicky than useful, the rack setup is great, for the price there things made less sturdy than I’d expect and hopefully it lasts 10 years with no major issues.

If you're looking for a Bosch dishwasher that is fingerprint proof, this is finally it. I needed a new dishwasher but it had to be fingerprint proof. i researched for hours and this is it. I've had a different brand that was fingerprint proof but this brand has a beautiful stainless finish that is shiny. the functionality is the key to why I went with this brand. Washes dishes fantastically. There is no electric heating element to dry the dishes. Instead, it uses a new mineral technology that heats up to dry them. There was a noticeable smell the first 2 weeks..... possibly from the new materials but it did go away. I have to put the setting on sanitize and crystal dry in order for it to actually dry well. I'm not a fan of the app. i set it up. I always run the dishwasher before bed so I have clean dishes for the day. After using the machine for 2 weeks, one day I woke up to dirty dishes. Well the app decided what time was best for me to run it. I had to go into the app and shut a setting off that automatically detects when was best to run it based on my usage. Not cool. Love the 3rd rack. Once you have a 3rd rack you'll never go back. I ditched the cutlery holder and put all our (family of 6 plus pets) cutlery in the 3rd rack to gain more space in the bottom rack. It really helps free up the bottom rack.

The home needs to be renovated which we plan do accomplish over the next year or so. That said, I told my wife that we needed to replace the dishwasher NOW if I was going to be using it. The choice was easy since we had purchased a Bosch a year ago for our other house. So we went to the appliance store, picked it out in 10 minutes or less, had it installed and love it, just like we do the first one. I think this was the easiest sale our salesman ever had!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always 'pre-wash' my dishes but decided to test how good this 800 series is. Everything is coming out perfect, including the silverware. The plastics are coming out completely dry too! Even without the rinse agent. (I'm terrible about refilling it) There was a cosmetic issue on the door, I called customer service, expecting to have to fight to get help, be transferred, disconnected.... But i got through in about 10 minutes and received excellent help. I was given 2 names of authorized repair places in town and issued a Work Order number. The first place let me know the next week they were not doing warranty work. So I had to call Bosch again, same great experience that was friendly and fast. New WO number was issued to the other repair provider and all is well. Highly recommend this dishwasher and Bosch!

Almost top quiet. I wasn't sure if I was turning it on correctly. There is a reason this is the top ranked dishwasher. The third rack is convenient and great for lighter items like blastic Tupperware lids which may get damaged by the heat of being lower. I chose to install myself and it went fairly well. The back leveling foot is extremely convenient, allowing you to adjust it from the front after the dishwasher is in place. They went to great lengths to make this easy which was confusing because the front two feet are an absolute nightmare and are stupidly hard to turn to raise.

Tried for 18 mo. to get an 800 series but it was out of stock or there were only two for all stores in Arizona etc. Enter this new improved model. I jumped when i saw it was in stock. The power control wash and crystal dry have both done better than expected. My wife said she's had to unlearn years of how to wash dishes with being able to just throw everything in with out pre rinsing everything. 1 con, App had issues with andriod connectivity. Bottom line, This has cleaned/dried everything using cascade pods or finish quantum no matter who or how its loaded by adults or my kids.

I'm not normally one to get all excited over a dishwasher, but I have to admit that this is by far the best one that I've ever owned. The features, cleaning and drying power and the functionality of it, makes this dishwasher better than any of the others I've used. Installation was pretty standard with the exception of the need to use a junction box if you dont have an outlet installed where this will be used. The box is normally sold separately for about $20. This dishwasher, even for installation purposes was well thought out. I really like that instead of having to use a flat head screwdriver or a wrench to level the feet, all you need is a screwdriver that adjusts the unit by turning it. The photos show the area at the bottom of the front of the dishwasher where the adjustments are made. This little feature saves time and the difficulty of leveling the unit. The top two racks have height adjustments that aid in loading different items onto those two racks. I also really like the top rack that is ideal for silverware. It take a little more time to load my spoons, forks and knives but my utensils have never been cleaner. There is also the standard removable basket for silverware as well. There are plenty of adjustments to the tines on the bottom two racks that allow flexibility loading dishes of different sizes. One of the best features of this dishwasher is the drying. I've had a Bosch dishwasher before and my biggest issue with it was that the dishes still had water on them after the drying cycle. It was kind of annoying, but at least the dishes were clean. The Crystal Dry feature all but eliminates that problem. My dishes are pretty much bone dry with the exception of cups or glassware that still catches water on the bottom of them, but I dont think any dishwasher can solve that problem. The heating element is located in the rear corner of the dishwasher and combined with the metal interior creates a superior drying experience. I couldnt really be happier with it. Where this dishwasher really shines is that it is a smart device. After downloading the app and connecting it to my Wifi, I can start, stop, program, adjust cleaning settings and be alerted to a completed cycle. So now instead of asking my kids if they ran the dishwasher, I can check for myself and start it if necessary. Within the app, i can adjust the washing intensity by customizing the bottom rack from heavy, normal or light cleaning. I can also program it to start at a certain time each day or cancel that scheduled time if I need to. It also alerts me when I need to add rinse aid to it which is also a great feature that helps to get cleaner dishes. This thing is super, super quiet. It's really difficult to tell when its running, even when I'm standing right next to it. It does have a light on the front of it that is lit when its running so that is helpful. All in all, this is the best dishwasher I've used and would highly recommend it.
