[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our month-old Bosch SHX78CM5N dishwasher. It gets every little item completely clean, dries exceptionally well, and holds at least a day's worth of dishes. It's our first Bosch and we didn't know what to expect, but we have quickly come to love it. The only negative is that there is no way to set it for a delayed start. I think this is possible with their Home Connect app, but we cannot connect our wifi to the dishwasher, which is required for the app. It's almost a dealbreaker, but since it works so well in all other respects, we're "pleasantly stuck". Would love to be able to use the app for additional features and convenience.

My guess is these positive reviews are people paid to post for Bosch. In the real world this machine has been loud from day one and completely stopped working with an error code "E07" after just two years. Got suckered into purchasing the extended warranty. Soonest appointment for subcontractor to get around to us is 2 weeks, and only then will the order parts which they estimate 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this dishwasher and how quiet it is! The only reason I gave it four stars is for the cups rack. For some reason the cups, mugs or water glasses don't rest nicely in the rack. They seem to wobble a bit and I can't find the right way to load them. Not a big deal and I would definitely buy this dishwasher again!!

This is our second Bosch dishwasher- the last one lasted 20 years. Very quiet and works well. Our dishwasher came with a number of rebates but they are very slow at processing them.

Just wish the bottons worked faster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new Bosch 800 series dishwasher for approximately two months. It is so much quieter than our previous KitchenAid dishwasher and is superior in cleaning and drying. We now have two Bosch dishwashers in our house and will soon be replacing our Maytag refrigerator with a Bosch.

Installed March 2024, broke April 2024. April 23 2024 I called them. I still, to this day, have a brick where I want a dishwasher. I've been through 5 'repairs'. I've done all that I can to just get my money back. They've refused. I've asked for a new dishwasher, they've refused. Do not deal with this company, they lie and make life as difficult as possible. I look at my kitchen and see the stainless steal brick with the Bosch label. Thankfully nothing else Bosch.

I appreciate how easy it is to see when this dishwasher is on - red light shows on floor. Also dishwasher is quiet.

Connection to iOS app took a few tries but the app reliably connects now, shows the status like time remaining. We are still adjusting to the layout of dishes & flatware, but with the third rack, plenty of space. Dishes come out sparkling clean & dry.

This unit is very flexible in that it has many different programs depending on your needs. The installation process was very simple and straightforward. We have had the unit now for about 3 weeks with no issues. The quick dry program does leave a lot of moisture behind but the dishes are still fairly dry but we like the crystal dry setting.

Repairing it would have cost more than it was worth, so I looked for a reliable replacement. This Bosch unit was very highly rated so I took a look at all the models and decided this had all the features I needed. The unit runs quietly amd the Crystal Dry feature works as advertised. Hopefully, I will have better luck than I did with my previous dishwasher.

Great dishwasher, but disappointed with the typical Home Depot “install” by the third-party plumber they contracted who charged $200 for one tiny PVC connection under the sink. Had the same extra charge game with a gas stove we ordered last December. Won’t happen to us again

Quietest dishwasher ever!

Arrived with a dent on the side, and never dried any of the dishes. Ran about 10 cycles over a period of 10 days and it never dried the dishes at all. Completely wet at the end of every cycle, despite following the directions. I had to return it. Furthermore, when the Home Depot crew came to pick it up for the return, they left my garbage disposal connection uncapped, told me I could use my sink but not the garbage disposal. We did use the sink (not knowing any better, just following directions), and it completely flooded the cabinets underneath my sink. Had to call a plumber ($250) and my cabinets under the sink are ruined. No one at Home Depot cares about anything, and I'm certain no one will do anything to follow up about this. The people you send to install and pick up are terrible. Shame on Home Depot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is marvellously quiet and efficient at cleaning dishes. It's a bit smaller but quieter than my previous dishwasher. The silverware rack is also smaller. So overall, I have to wash more loads of dishes. But I am pleased with how sparkling clean the dishes come out.

On our third Bosch in 23 years! Not sure why Bosch added an app capability. The two UX doesn't quite go together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our 15+ old dishwasher when it stopped working. Bosch for a new Bosch. New one has Crystal Dry & Sanitize option. WiFi App connected and so far has worked great. Third rack for flatware took a bit of getting used to, if you group like items together makes for easy putting away. Plastic dries completely. Adjustable second rack has been very useful. So far stainless steel finish has shown no fingerprint, easy to clean. Switched to a bar handle, much better design than first one we had. Overall pleased with the purchase, may it last longer than our first Bosch dishwasher.

Love the dishwasher. Dishes are clean. Husband has fun with the remote tech wash. I’m getting used to the new dish placement. Didn’t think I’d like the top flat rack but I actually do. The best was placing my large splatter screen up there as it’s generally too tall for the low rack.

This idshwasher is extremely quiet, I must be right near it to even know it is operating. If something is amiss, the red light that shines on the floor during the wash cycle will flash. This occured once due to a dish blocking onw of the arms. The drying cycle is fantatic, plastics are dry and never melted (no calrod element). Very happy with the product and it's performance.
