At the end of the day it is working as intended - looks good, sounds good, does the job. I replaced a 50yo fan that took more than expected to remove. This fan preassumes a setup in your ceiling which didn't match my actual setup so took a fair amount of effort and time to get it installed. If you are starting from scratch it will be easier.

Wasn't prepared for the duct connection and connections for wiring were "very" inconvenient.

Fan is pretty quiet, can be heard enough to know it's working. Fan works much better if the bathroom door is slightly open - when the door is closed the mirror will still get partially fogged.

Very quiet, minimal look, vents well. I installed two of these fans on each side of our large bathroom to vent the open tub and shower. These are much more quiet than the fan in the toilet closet the contractors installed last year. Installation was a little tight but doable. Make sure and read the instructions, not just watch the video as it doesn't totally match the particular model (e.g., vent size). Would buy and use again.

Good Product Overall
Just finished replacing our old bathroom exhaust fan with this model. Overall it went well, but was surprised to see that I had to provide my own materials such as wire nuts and/or wago nuts, as well as wood screws to secure the unit to the ceiling joist. Also had to purchase a duct reducer from the old 3" duct to the 4" connector on the unit. The LED light is very bright. Will purchase two additional units for our other bathrooms.

Installation was not as easy as the videos made it seem and the audible sound was a bit louder than I was led to believe but 200 % better than what we had.

This thing has plenty of power for my small basement bathroom. I installed a humidity sensing switch and now the glass doesn’t even fog up while I am in the shower. It is not the quietest fan on the market, but it is quiet enough that I can’t hear the fan while I am in the shower and I don’t notice it when it is on. This is a huge upgrade over the cheap exhaust fans that came with our house.

The cfm 100 is excellent, but it you had a 80cfm,it doesn't fit, the 100 cfm bracket is two times smaller than the 80cfm,I had to put ty raps to keep the cfm 100 in the old bracket and had to drill three extra holes for the extra long screws I had to get. I was told the cfm 100 would work and connect to the old 80 cfm with no problem,?I was lied to,if you had 80cfm in the past stick with 80cfm new one

I used 3 of the 70 CFM exhaust fans and one 100 CFM exhaust fan to replace contractor grade 50 CFM fans put in my house when it was built. The footprint on this 100 CFM fan match my old Broan fans, making installation easier. They are definitely quieter as well. I do have a couple of gripes. The taps or wings on the housing, (generally used on new construction to secure these to a stud), are thick and difficult to remove if you don't want to use them. I had to cut them off with a Dremel. I should be able to bend them back and forth and snap them off. Otherwise, you will have to cut a slit in your ceiling drywall to slide the taps thru as your mount the housing. The other complaint is the damper is thin hard plastic and the flap doesn't always close all the way to prevent a backdraft, even when making sure the ductwork is tilted 1-2 degrees to help keep it closed - just a bit chintzy. Also, the damper on the 100 CFM is 4", while my existing ductwork is 3". I purchased a round reducer that fit perfectly over both the 4" damper and the existing 3" ductwork in my ceiling (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Master-Flow-4-in-to-3-in-Round-Reducer-R4X3/100149942). These are probably the easiest direct replacement for contractor grade Broan 50 CFM fans and have significantly reduced moisture in my bathrooms.

Really bright light. A little louder then expected and everything has to be done in the attic

These are some of the quietest bathroom fans around. I've installed several of these over the past few years. They used to come with mounting rails so you could position it between trusses / joists and not attaching it directly to the truss / joist. Still a great fan but just a little disappointed about the lack of mounting rails.

I'm using this fan with my hunting camp woodstove. Being off grid, the low amp draw is important as is the very quiet operation. It has improved heat distribution.

This unit is exactly as described and is quiet. Mounts easily, though we mounted on a wall and had full access on the other side. Great design.

Installation of the light was straightforward. Light is bright but not harsh, and the fan is powerful but quiet.

Purchase fan primarily due to very low noise ratings for the rated air flow, and the fan did not disappoint. Very quiet!

Great bathroom exhaust fan. Our electrician hooked up the fan and light separately so that they can operate on different switches. The light works on a dimmer. Fan is pretty quiet but works well, you can actually see it pulling the steam out of the room after a hot shower.

It’s a good fan on the quiet side with good cfm at a good price. It’s suitable for new construction or remodeling. Given the weight of the fan and the fact that 99% of the drywall installers make the holes much bigger than needed Delta should consider supplying at least a bracket for this fan. Overall I am happy with this fan and I am hoping I will not have motor issues in the near future. If it proves reliable I don’t why someone will chose a 50cfm noise maker instead of this fan. Kudos to Delta for this product.
