Easy to install with very good instructions.

Bought this pump a year and a half ago. Just died. Says it has a 3 year warranty. Date on tag says 4/30/2021. Misplaced the receipt so HD would not honor the warranty. Everbilt said it was HD's discretion and said they would issue a credit for the pump to HD so no skin off HD's nose but they'd rather lose a customer with a 2700 sq ft house on a 2.5 acres. Fine by me. No more Everbilt or Home Depot. The manager at store 2562, Jenelle and her subordinate Tom could not have been more rude or condescending. Just finished using them for a bathroom remodel and a full kitchen of appliances. Getting ready to do a second bathroom. I'll be using someone else. These guys changed their return policy in February. Target did the same and lived to regret it. So long HD!

Last one lasted 7 years and it gets quite a bit of use at our house.

Should be movable to the other side if need be. But workable if you have a large enough sump waste pit. (Has to be at least 30" in depth per instructions.) The unit moves slightly every time it pumps and after a year and a half it moves toward the wall in the sump pit and the float got stuck. I figured it out and moved it back in line with plumbing and works fine now. I recommend this unit because it has lasted for a year and a half, getting fairly heavy usage in my basement with a full bath that I use frequently, including the shower. The float configuration is the only issue I have with the unit so far.

This pump seems to get a lot more expensive than before (low 400 now). Pro: heavy duty; quiet; minimum configuration. Just glue a 2 inch pipe to a threaded connector and then screw it in. The separate floater cutoff wire is useful in case float got stuck. Con: Floater can only be attached to one side of the pump. The existing pipe location can force the floater to be a bad position that can get stuck. Shortening the floater cable to 3 inch and lowering it may be needed.

Was easy to swap out the old pump. This one is quieter and really fast.

Installed it and within a week the float switch failed. Returned it and went with another brand with a better style switch.

Wanted a 1hp. But home depot does not stock them. while i could order one i could not wait for it. Had to be fixed same day.

Got this when our pump failed, it was easy to install and is working great!

Our sump pump went out, but we noticed that we were getting a lot of soot in the barrel, so we bought this instead to use as our sump pump? I figured it would work well since it grinds things up! So far it has worked like a champ on expelling the water and soot, plus it's industrial strength. Every other week I pour a little vinegar down into the barrel and it cleans the unit. It was worth the money!
