The process requires an entire weekend, maintaining the correct temperature and following the instructions step by step is a must. Watching the online video for the how to technique was very helpful as well. When you apply the epoxy ensure that you spread it thinly, if you apply it heavy it will create a un-smooth finish. The end product will be a reflection of the time you invest in it.

Wasted weekend. Finished product has the appearance/texture of orange peel like bad automotive paint. Video on website and invluded instructions refer to micing epoxy. The kit my wife bought had only priner, grey veining paint white high light paint and top coat. Top coat did not spread evenlywith roller. Roller was uneven meaning one end was compressed and the other was thick. I will admit from a distance ir in photos it looks good but all i see is uneven covering. I thiught the topcoat may have been the epoxy with needing to mix.

Very good product and would definitely use it again. Easy and complete instructions and video. We redid two dark granite faced fireplaces. It was a bit tricky for the part that is on the wall when applying the final step, but I got some good pointers from the customer service person I spoke to and it came out great. Friends can't believe it's not Carrara Marble. Only advice i have is take your time and think it through before you begin, but once you do, be prepared to work quickly.

Instructions were awful. The large bush essentially absorbs the paint on the countertop as well at paper towel. Their customer service is the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered.

This was easy to use and counters look great. Beware of hair, pet hair and airborne particles. They will get stuck in the epoxy. I highly recommend watching the videos in addition to the directions provided.

Half of my kitchen is still wet because we had to add another coat, it did not self level so we had to fill in some imperfections however it looks great.

I had enough of this product to do several projects. Ths first turned out perfect, absolutely no problems- love the look. Then I decided to use the remaining product- different included cans of epoxy and undercoat. Following the instructions to the tee— this time the epoxy puddled, separated, and never cured. I ended up scraping the uncured epoxy from the counter tops, cleaning with alcohol and acetone to remove the sticky residue which also removed the undercoat, extensive sanding, repaint, and sand agsin. I am now awaiting a different brand of epoxy to complete this project. I called Giani- they requested i email pictues to aid in them helping me troubleshoot— i never got a response by email or return call. I am returning the remaining product to HD for refund. This project has taken 1.5 weeks when it should have taken a few days, Now i have a mess in my kitchen and bath and company coming!!!.

We used the faux marble countertop paint kit as per the instructions. Within a few days of the epoxy setting we noticed small areas of yellowing. This increased in size and darkness to a very ugly degree within 3 weeks. The yellow seemed to be worse in the areas of high use. I called the company and they were very responsive but their suggestion was to strip the countertops completely and start the whole process all over again. Um, no thanks. Terrible results from a terrible product.

I must say I am completely impressed by this product! The ease of use, thorough instructions, and quality of finished product is amazing, it looks better than I anticipated.

straight forward instructions. Came with everything needed in the box. I advise to take a day to prep (tape, plastic, etc.) first and then the following day for the application. Also, plan not to use the countertop for 3--7 days after epoxy. 10/10 will do it again.

I absolutely love it. I am on the 5th day of drying. I will say to beware it is almost impossible if u have a love bug animal not to get at least one hair on it. One area for some reason had more bubbles but we are going to touch it up when after 7 days. With bubbles it is usually the person who is doing it that did not coat right with the epoxy correctly!!! All in all beautiful. I bought a clear silicone mat to put under my microwave to protect it. I did the white marble and made veins dark

It looks really good when it’s done but scratches really easy. We gave it the full 7 days cure time too.

We read all directions, watched the videos, and started the project. Veining is beautiful and very easy to do. All was great until the epoxy. We watched for voids and bubbles but still got a lot of voids. No matter how many times we tried to fix it just got worse. If it were not for this issues I would have given 10 stars and it looks amazing.
