Regular hose and this didn't make a good water tight connection. I evenly tighten the coupling and stripped on 1 side. The one with the hose clamp is the best but is the most ugly looking one. I trim the extra hose clamp lead and tape it up and does not as bad BUT it's a good and tight hose end without leaks.

This female hose coupling leaks horribly where it rotates. It does have the rubber washer and does not leak at the hose. The fitting itself leaks

You may get a lot of unhappy customers. Maybe it was me, but the two screws were so tight they wouldn’t turn and one broke. I suppose I should come back and get my money back.

One of the screws did not move or work.threw it away. Found an old plastic one I had and used it.problem solved.
